I was supposed to have nose surgery with the Iranian doctor, and she asked me for a deposit. I clearly stated that I had very serious iron problems and that if I couldn't have the surgery, my deposit would be returned. She told me that the doctor had said there was no problem with my iron levels after consulting my doctor in Switzerland. I asked her if I could still have the surgery, and she told me I wasn't allowed. So I asked the hospital to return my deposit, but they refused because it was an offer and they had already booked me for the surgery. However, the surgery date hadn't been set, and I hadn't even had the tests done before the operation, and they still don't want to give me my money back. So, I'm going to the police to file a complaint and get my money back. I think that if the doctor is a reputable professional, there shouldn't be a problem with the refund, especially since she didn't mention the policy that if I make a deposit, I won't get my deposit back if there's a problem.
