David, my technician, was fantastic—prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and offered helpful guidance for future use. I appreciated that he never tried to upsell, provided clear quotes, and followed up immediately when a small issue came up, complete with a video explanation and an offer to return at no charge. Amazing work from Genesis! They came in and worked with my vision to convert one of our fireplaces to gas log and retrofit the other with a gas fire starter (I didn’t even know that was a thing but it is!). Not only did they take the time to understand exactly what I wanted and make a clear plan, but they even got up on the roof and found a few other critical issues that needed fixing. They handled a long list of items, coordinating and negotiating with other vendors to get everything done quickly and done right — from roof and chimney work to running new gas lines to sweeping. The end result was a custom solution that fit our home perfectly and looks incredible. I can’t say enough about the quality of their work, timeliness, and professionalism. The whole team went above and beyond and always made sure I was in good hands. Highly recommend!

The technician, David, was absolutely great. We have kind of a wonky set up with a wood stove that involves right angle pipes and he took the time to look them over and explain his plan for cleaning. Reasonable quote for our set-up. He cleaned everything including the stuff that fell to the cleanout box and any small particulates that fell on the mantle from the pipes. Very happy with his work. Office staff were super helpful scheduling the free quote visit.

I had problems with getting two fireplaces to work properly. Genesis responded promptly to my call, and we set up an appointment for a couple of days later. The tech who came to the house was very polite and knowledgeable. He had the fireplaces up and running quickly (as part of the problem was user error on my part). Overall I felt the service was excellent, and I will definitely use Genesis for any future needs.

Very pleased with the service - installed a new remote start for my propane fireplace. No more dealing with the pesky wall mount start. Tech was courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I had this company come out last Summer to put a new crown on the chimney and fix the leaking flashing around it. They did both of these things but we saw later that it was not a good job. In December during a hard rainstorm, water was literally running down the fireplace into the living room, which should not have happened. I insisted that they return immediately and in two days they did come out and do what I was told was a temporary repair. The communication from that point forward was unsatisfactory. Update: after speaking with the owner of the company, I expressed that the communications between the dispatch person, the crew and the client really needs improvement. Workmanship could also be improved. He promised me that they would work on this for all future clients.

These guys are fantastic! I called them for gas fireplace repair, and they fixed it the same day. The guy was competent and clearly knew what he was doing. There's no bother, no upselling, just good service.
