The consultation for HALO (HAIRLINE LOWERING SURGERY) is in 90% of all cases quite an emotional moment…my patients have to reveal one of their biggest insecurities, and more than that, in order to identify the optimal height for the forehead AND the new shape of the hairline we need to take measurements and do drawings …😰😓 all this can be quite daunting, this is why I love my Zoom calls as a first point of contact… it helps to break the ice and open the conversation🥶
During the consultation we agree on a new hairline design and I take photos and plenty of measurements to replicate the same line on the day of surgery…
As you can imagine, this special day is very exciting😳😬 so managing each and every detail of a patients experience is so important… on little detail: I hold everyone’s hand until they fall asleep… 😴 it is a small gesture but it means the world when you are in a room full of strangers buzzing around you preparing your surgery😵💫😵
The recovery is a whole other story, or shall I say journey 😅 and I am fortunate to have a team in which every single member takes great pride in looking after every single patient! 🥰🤩
We all have our stories and every single surgery is a journey that needs all of our attention and care…I always joke that the C in my OCD stands for CARE 😅
