Gav's Taxi - Frome

We used Gav as Uber let us down. The Uber app (never used before in UK) gave impression a cab was coming to the railway station but nothing got fixed. If in Frome I would recommend avoiding Uber and contact Gav instead.

Gav is the most reliable taxi driver I have ever found. He is professional and friendly and will always send a message with his ETA if delayed in traffic. I highly recommend Gav for all your trips, whether local, or an airport run. Thanks so much, Gav!

Gavs taxi has always been reliable and there when Ive needed the service. He is efficient and on time. Very polite and made to feel welcome in the journey. Highly recommend.

We had a taxi booked for 4am to go to Bristol Airport Gav was spot on time and to return at a later date to be picked up at 8pm again spot on time. The price was fair Gav is very pleasant and his taxi spotless. Will certainly use him again.

Always prompt and picks up with a smile, more than willing to help with bags or mobility aids and has the space for them too! Wonderful taxi driver, always ready for a chat and doesn't complain at my short notice calls either so that's a bonus! Highly recommend Gav ☺️

Excellent Service from Start to Finish! I had an outstanding experience with gas taxi From the moment I booked the ride, everything was smooth and professional. The driver arrived right on time, the car was spotless and comfortable, and the ride was incredibly pleasant.

Called Gav as we were located right on the outskirts of Frome, in a rural area, on a dark and icy evening. He managed to find us, dropped us off safely and arranged to come and collect us later in the evening for the return trip. Despite my signal issues in contacting him for pick-up, he came back and collected us as promised. Friendly, efficient, fair price. Would recommend to anyone!

Excellent service. A very busy night for taxis in Frome, Gav came through for us last minute to get us to a gig (we’re visitors from Devon) and also helped us to get back to base later on that evening. Superb! Would highly recommend Gav and will definitely contact him again next time.

I’ve got Gav’s taxi a few times. He is always polite, respectful and comes as soon as he can which is often a lot faster than any other taxi company. His prices are fair and always in line with Somerset council. Keep up the good work Gav!
