CP12s - Safety Insepections for Landlords
A CP12, otherwise known as a gas safety certificate, is a document that certifies that all of the gas appliances at a property are not a safety threat.
If you are a landlord, this is a legal requirement that both you and your tenant should be made aware of.
It is therefore required that landlords have an annual gas safety check and certificate which is signed and issued by a Gas Safe registered heating engineer as per the Gas Safety Regulations 1998.
