Garden Terrace Senior Apartments

I can't say enough good things about Garden Terrace Apartments and the staff. I was reluctant to move back to Johnstown and the only thing that got me here was having an apartment here. I absolutely love my apartment and wish I could move this to where I'm going to be living now. It was actually hard to say goodbye. I'm going to live where I raised my family and where my daughter lives because an apartment opened up there after a year and a half wait. I will remember my time very fondly here.

Garden Terrace is an amazing senior place to live. Management is awesome and takes care of all of your needs, and promptly. Apartments are spacious and clean, some with a great view of the city. Upkeep is above average with cleanliness and maintenance. Offers weekly activities and often complimentary meals. Large activity room and a big beautiful outdoor patio for enjoyment in nice weather. Very quiet, peaceful living with the added security most places don't offer. After living in a single home for 46 years, I can appreciate the carefree lifestyle here. Best senior apartment dwelling in the area, I know I've made a great choice choosing this one. Hats off to the AWESOME staff, Debbie, Tammy, Tom, and Brian, as they are so kind, prompt, and courteous to any issue you may have arise. I recommend Garden Terrace to any senior who wants security along with quality🌟🌟🌟🌟Anyone who has complaints about this place is just unpleasant no matter what!

2 years ago almost my husband and myself found ourselves needing to be closer to hospitals. We searched high and low for the perfect place to make our new roots, I called GTA after many declines because my age was not qualified even though my husbands did. And a place we could have our furchild with us! Double bonus!!! Debi came to do our inspection we got approved and it went so fast my head is still spinning. I can not lie, sometimes living with 100 other apartments is not always easy, yet through good support and a great staff it seems to work out. Can not say how much we appreciate our maintenance man Tom, I mean really I don't even have to change my own light bulbs!!! Major bonus though is the activities that our community council does for all the residents and their friends and family. Tammy in the front office (assistant manager) is always packing a smile and has such a great sense of humor. Debi in the back office (manager) helps us residents learn things about the community and keeps the building safe and secure and still keeps us informed of what shall be coming up. In my opinion, our staff is top notch, honest, caring, and always available to help with any issues us residents may encounter. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place that is safe, secure, and in a location that is available by bus, Garden Terrace Apartments is definitely the choice for you!

I have delivered Meals on Wheels for the past five years, and have visited multiple apartment buildings in the area during that time. Garden Terrace appears to be the cleanest, brightest, and best maintained of those I have seen. The management on site, current and previous, are the only ones in town who have consistently communicated with me regarding my customers. They have both passed along concerns and listened to my concerns. They are available and approachable, which is unusual in my experience. They have an involved community group, with many activities and presentations occurring regularly. It is obvious that management, and residents, take pride in their building.

I've been here for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love living here. Debi is the best manager we could ask for, she takes care of any problems that happen in an efficient and caring way, very personable and caring to all residents. Tammy is always ready and willing to help in anyway she can. Tom, excellent in maintaining the property. I am very happy and content to be here. Staff and apts. are excellent.

They don't let visitors or health workers park in the lot and there is a strange lady that hangs around the building that doesn't live or work there...

Deb and Tammy are super, Garden Terrace is so beautiful and clean,I just got approved, can't wait to start my journey there andy new life thank you again, Virginia Snell

The staff is absolutely amazing. The events we are able to participate in with other residents are always fun.

It's a roof over my head, thank God not anymore. The management is the worst. Put people against each other, lies, makes fun of people with disabilities, owner and upper management DOSE NOT CARE.

Great place to call home for seniors!
