I have lived in Denver for 15 years and just recently stumbled upon Garbarini! Seriously, where have I been? To be honest, I have avoided Cherry Creek for some time because of the construction, lack of parking and reputation for snobbishness. Well, not at this little gem! There is plenty of parking for Garbarini customers across the street (they give you a pass at the front) and the staff is lovely and helpful.
I went in during their summer sales event and spent 2 hours browsing and trying on clothing. 2 hours is unheard of, as I spent that much time in the entire mall usually. The great selection or merchandise and welcoming ambiance made is such a delight to shop here.
The shop is big for a boutique but well organized. You can find sections for evening wear, party outfits, casual attire, shoes, accessories etc. Even the sales section was neatly arranged in sizes and style which made browsing easy and efficient.
And the staff, let me tell you! They don't hover over you uncomfortably but give you space, checking in every so often and offering to load clothing into your dressing room (you read that right, I had a whole load of sale items). When I tried things on, my stylist Sierra helped pick out items and gave polite suggestions. When she was occupied, other stylists came and I freely picked their brains on opinions and how to match things. Everyone chimed in, even owner Terri came by and helped! I felt as if I was shopping with a bunch of girlfriends in tow!
I must say I previously thought Garbarini was a store for women my mom's age (I'm 35) but I was proven wrong. They carry so many different styles and brands to suit a wide range of fashionable women. I scored a pair of AG Jeans and a high waist pencil skirt with moto detail which I adore! I could probably get something similar at the mall across the street but I why not support a local business that carries quality, curated stuff and get all the attention from these lovely ladies? I am more and more transitioning to boutique shopping and needless to say Garbarini is now on my list of favorites!
