Chris did a wonderful job transferring four 8mm tapes in one week for me! One of the tapes was even stuck in the camera and he took the time to take the entire camera apart and retrieve the tape! I gave the digital copy to my parents for an early Christmas gift and we did not realize my birth (in 1999) was on those tapes! It was amazing watching those! Chris was very responsive and communicative through email/phone. His prices are very reasonable as well. I cannot thank him enough!

Gahanna Video Pros do excellent work. They converted my 8mm film to a digital and they also merged a DVD media I had ( done by another shop of other 8mm film) and converted to 1 thumb drive. They also made multiple drives of the finished product. Their price was very reasonable. The also expedited the work at no extra charge as I had a holiday deadline and wanted to give the end product to a several family members. Excellent experience and service. I would use them again and they are very convenient to where I live.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I took in my Grandpa's 50+ year old 8mm reel to reel film to be converted to a flash drive. Chris converted the film so quickly and did a great job!! This Christmas will be so special for my Brothers and I watching movies of past Christmases together and reliving all the wonderful memories of our Parents who we lost recently. I have about 50 reels of 8mm film from the 70s that I've been wanting to have converted to digital. We've not been able to view these old home movies for years and I was worried that the film was bad or wouldn't be in good enough condition to work with. Gahanna Video Pros did a fantastic job, the 7 reels I had done turned out better than I ever expected. It's been such a fantastic experience for my whole family to be able to view these old memories. My father used this company to transfer the old videos from his family in the 50s onto a DVD. He being 100% Italian and parents immigrated from Italy watching this film of my great grandparents and all the extended family was absolutely magical for me. It was a life changing experience. Sadly, only a few years later, my father suddenly passed. As we were going through his things we found VHS tapes from mostly the 80s which no one knew had survived a house fire we had in 2000. My dad was the camera man in the family, documenting all of our silly times as kids, our first days of school, our birthdays, us dancing and singing. I remembered he used Gahanna Video Pros for his film transfer. So I took the VHS tapes to them. They remembered my dad. They were so friendly and wanted to help me. Super affordable too. You could tell they truly cared about their job. I believe they transferred 15 or so VHS tapes to digital video files. Some of those tapes were actually of my dads parents and the family also. They were completed I believe in less than a week. I felt lucky to have been able to send these precious video files to the few family members still living of which they hadn’t seen before. And I was lucky to get to see these tapes I had never seen before and to see and hear my dad again.

The price is very reasonable in comparison to other places and they had my project completed earlier than expected. It was so great to be able to watch old memories on my TV again. I brought in 40+ 8mm video tapes and four 20 year old vhs tapes of our wedding. I had all of them converted to flash drive and disc. I am very pleased with the results. The turnaround time was impressive. One of my old vhs videos had some static issues and they were able to clean up over 95% of the static. Quality service! We brought in some vintage 16mm film reels that were suffering from horrible vinegar syndrome. Chris and his team were able to save a huge chunk of the footage and digitize it with stunning quality. It was amazing being able to watch family home videos that were almost 90 years old.
