Anthony was unbelievably kind on the passing of my beautiful 16 year old furbaby Belle. He spent so much time with us talking and playing with Belle before anything was done. A month ago we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our beautiful dog Zeus. Anthony went above and beyond for our family in a way we will never forget. On extremely short notice and after hours, he travelled 45 minutes to come to our home so Zeus could pass peacefully in the comfort of the place he loved most. From the moment he arrived, he was incredibly kind, calm and compassionate. He gently guided us through the whole process, explaining everything so clearly and making sure our kids understood what was happening in a way that was comforting rather than frightening. It was the small gestures that made the process so much more comforting by suggesting we make a platter of Zeus’s favourite foods so Zeus could be completely spoiled in his final moments. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant the world to us as a family. Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do, but he made Zeus’s final moments peaceful, dignified and full of love. We will always be grateful for the care, compassion and respect he showed Zeus and our entire family. Thank you Anthony for helping us give Zeus the perfect goodbye.

We cannot recommend Furwells highly enough, especially Anthony. During the incredibly difficult time of losing our boy, Diesel, Anthony was nothing short of exceptional. He was kind, gentle, and compassionate not only with Diesel, but with all of us. He gave us the space we needed while also offering comfort in the most professional and respectful way. Every step of the process was explained clearly, and his conversations were thoughtful, calm, and reassuring. Anthony helped us give Diesel the most calm and comforting passing we could in the moment. He was genuinely caring, and it was clear he was there to support us through such a painful goodbye and period of grief. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, peaceful, comforting experience with Anthony. He made all of us feel comfortable and especially our pets. Communicated perfectly about the process, we are very grateful we had someone who cares so deeply about our pets. He took the upmost care of Jed and was extremely respectful. I am so absolutely grateful I reached out to Furwells. I was feeling lost and overwhelmed about how best to support my beautiful 15 year old cat, Leo. Within moments of talking to Anthony on the phone I felt heard and supported and he visited Leo and I only a few hours later. I so appreciate Anthony's expertise, compassion, patience, and all the time he took with Leo and I. Leo was very comfortable with Anthony and was pottering around and asking for pats while we talked through what had been going on for him. Anthony had a gentle but frank conversation with me about Leo's prognosis, helped me organise my thoughts and provided me with the education and information that helped me make an incredibly difficult decision without pressuring me either way. Anthony facilitated the most beautiful goodbye Leo and I could have ever hoped for, in the comfort of our own home. I miss my boy so much but I find so much comfort in having been present at such a peaceful end and that he's resting now without having to endure any further suffering. I have also really appreciated the compassion and offer of support following Leo's passing. Thank you so much Anthony and the Furwells team, I believe you guys are angels here on earth!

What a wonderful service. I needed an out of typical office hours visit for my elderly cat. Dr Anthony arrived 30 minutes after the initial phone call. He is a kind, gentle and compassionate man. He helped my Millie off in a quiet and gentle way. He explained each step of the procedure and even took time to chat about Millie’s life. I highly recommend Furwells.

For me, the decision had to happen fast and I was not at all prepared. Was referred to Anthony by the cat specialists. I was a mess, Anthony was great. Being a vet he could answer my questions and helped me to feel I was doing the right thing for my girl. He made himself available and was super accommodating. When life is just sucking, it’s nice to have a kind person with a personality helping you out :)

Sadly, I just had the opportunity to meet this wonderful and caring beautiful soul, Dr Anthony. He came just in time to put my dear boy to rest. It was a sad but wonderful journey. Anthony was amazing. He was caring and so compassionate. I am truely grateful I found him. Sadly my boy has passed now but his journey was with out any more suffering. Anthony must be an angel, as no one has ever been able to hold and cuddled my snappy chihuahua- not this fast! Thank you so much for your wonderful service.
