This treasure of a unique toy store is only surpassed by the customer representation of Lily the general manager of the store, as well as the store associate Barbara. The store is filled with fun and different merchandise than you can’t find at Target or Amazon. Funky Monkey has different merchandise and each visit is like a treasure hunt. I live in California and I am lucky enough that Funky Monkey ships my items that I order online to me. All of the gifts that I have bought from the store is a major hit with my family. Everytime I visit New York I must go to my happy place in Connecticut which is Funky Monkey. Thank you again to Lily and Barbara for your excellent choices for my grandchildren

Funky Monkey is the best! They have all the newest and best toys. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The store stands by its products. Debbie the owner, has been extremely helpful assisting me with a replacement battery for an electric car that I bought from them. She was even able to contact the manufacturer and get me a free replacement. She has gone above and beyond to assist me with this issue. I recommend Funky Monkey as they provide the small locally owned business customer service that is few and far between these days.

I absolutely love The Funky Monkey Greenwich location! I have been shopping with Lilly for two years and the service I receive is truly exceptional! She spent time selecting Books, games, motor sensory devices for my son’s home library as well as hand selecting gifts for my friends children based off personal interests. Lilly has hand delivered my purchases to my home. The Selection is amazing! The patience and dedication to ensuring I am happy is unmatched. Lilly is truly the ultimate best Client advisor within Funky Monkey! I plan to shop there for years to come! She never lets me down! I love supporting small business but what happened today has left a pit in my stomach and a sour taste in my mouth. My kids and I often shop here for family/friends birthday presents because the selection is wonderful and they gift wrap. Today we spent a considerable amount, our items were gift wrapped and we went home. Something seemed off about the size of my package so I decided to open the gift wrapped items and sure enough 1 item didnt make it into our bag. I called them and they refunded me. But it got me wondering how many people's items have not been included in their gift wrapping and are essentially being scammed by this store. They didnt offer me anything for the trouble of this happening. I will not return to that store. I encourage everyone to double check all your items make it into your gifts before you give them to your loved ones.

I had the most unbelievable experience at the Funky Monkey on Greenwich Avenue, in Greenwich, Connecticut. The girls behind the counter were patient, extremely knowledgeable and fun to shop with. Its was like having a personal shopper experience!!! The owner was on premises and also helped to make my shopping experience wonderful. To put a cherry on a sundae, they offer free gift wrapping complimentary!!! They also offer bday cards too! This is a one stop shopping experience and I loved it😊 I will definitely be back again.

Beautiful. The Candy store of Toy stores. Filled with toys for everyone really amazing. For a street with a toy store again. It has been far, far too long to be without toy stores. What has happened where we have stopped being able to say “let’s go to the toy store”. As a reward, an incentive, for fun! With a bright, pretty environment filled with quality toys. Hands on, see it real. Amazing to watch my son, handle a toy, look it over…sensory overload! Super fun. Find something new, unexpected. All the WOW. To walk down a busy street, and have a Toy Store to ‘pop into’. Bright, colorful atmosphere, truly filled with lovely toys, books, board games as well as unique treasures. Really something for everyone. A giant Lava Lamp! Fun. Quality toys. Little gadgets. My son(12) and I first walked in, he found a specific item he has been wanting, never even crossed our minds to look for it, less than 5 minutes he comes to me, big smile, toy in hand. Nicer than we had seen online, next I turn the box around to check the price…$8.00 less than cost online. A fine store. Delightful. We need toys again. Our children! They tag along with us on our errands, they need their eye candy and stuff. It’s only fair after all! Bless you Toy Store! Thank you.

Funky Monkey Greenwich went above and beyond to help hunt down a special bracelet for me that they no longer carried. They searched high and low at other stores all around the area. Found them. Had them shipped and then hand delivered to my office. All at their expense. This was all from ordering the bracelets online and then coming damaged (not funky monkeys fault at all). I am blown away by their customer service and care. We will be customers for life. Thank you Lilly at Funky Monkey Greenwich for going the extra mile. Truly.

Love, Love this store! The Manager Lilly, I believe is her name goes beyond the call of duty. I was looking for a fidget peanut for my daughter and she knew she had a single one somewhere and to my surprise she actually found it. Just the fact that she went beyond to make my child happy makes me be a repeat customer! Always so polite and sweet! Love how well the store wrapped my gifts.
