I had the BEST experience with Funky Monkey Toys & Books! I’m currently out of town and needed to send a birthday gift to a 3-year-old family member, and Vera and Lilly truly went above and beyond. They took the time to ask thoughtful questions about what the birthday girl likes and helped me choose the perfect gift. Since I couldn’t be there in person, I arranged for an Uber Messenger pickup — and they made the entire process seamless. They even hand wrote a sweet card for me and wrapped everything so beautifully and thoughtfully. It looked absolutely adorable! This treasure of a unique toy store is only surpassed by the customer representation of Lily the general manager of the store, as well as the store associate Barbara. The store is filled with fun and different merchandise than you can’t find at Target or Amazon. Funky Monkey has different merchandise and each visit is like a treasure hunt. I live in California and I am lucky enough that Funky Monkey ships my items that I order online to me. All of the gifts that I have bought from the store is a major hit with my family. Everytime I visit New York I must go to my happy place in Connecticut which is Funky Monkey. Thank you again to Lily and Barbara for your excellent choices for my grandchildren
