Friot's Water Treatment

What a great experience. Dan, the owner, was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did he not try to over sell us, he talked us out of buying products we didn’t need. The job was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend using Friots.

I have been a client for about 2 years. They installed and service my reverse osmosis system. We recently ran into a problem with the system that was of no fault of Friot's. They came and made it right regardless with a very reasonable recommendation. This company is very well run.

Our previous system lasted 32 years and required 1 service call. I could have shopped around, but I have enough experience to appreciate good service. They did the work when scheduled for the amount quoted. When done they cleanup thoroughly and finally make sure I was satisfied. I recommend them to anyone who asks. They are a small business, that treat their customers like friends. Great Customer Service Eli listens extremely well and give intelligent, relevant answers. At every turn, he thinks like a customer. There was a small problem with my order. He apologized for the mistake and offered a solution before I complained. My level of trust with this company allows me to follow their recommendations with a minimum of shopping around. My question about their quote was answered quickly and clearly. When I asked about the benefit of adding a taste filter, Eli is very practical and reserved, saying 'If you are happy with the taste of the water, you probably don't need one.' Fast Response While the work was being done Dan, the owner, checked the well pressure tank and diagnosed a leaking bladder. After doing some of my own tests, I had questions, which I put into an email to Eli. 15 minutes later, after 5 pm, Dan called from his car. I was not expecting a reply to a non-urgent matter for at least a day. Dan did a great job of explaining his reasoning. He also stated he was as confident as he could be that I should replace the tank. He had experience with a high failure rate with this model. Note, the tank replacement will be done by another company. So Dan does not stand to gain anything, but goodwill.

I just had a water softener system installed by Friot's and I couldn't be more pleased. Eli was super knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions and was great to work with. I did my due diligence and their solution was very competitive compared to other vendors. They even installed an existing sediment filter that I had laying around and didn't try to upsell me on another one. The installation team was professional and friendly and great to work with. I would highly recommend their service if you are looking to implement a water softening system.

When we bought our house 20 years ago, there was a water softener system in place that made the water so salty we couldn't drink it or use it to water plants. That experience put us off the idea of salt based water softeners for a very long time. Finally, a year ago I spoke with Dan and explained our concerns. He was incredibly patient and recommended a system tailored to our needs and installed it. One year later, we couldn't be happier. The water tastes good, no salty taste at all, and there is no hard water staining on our sinks and toilets. The system works perfectly. I couldn't recommend Friot's more highly!

ABOVE & BEYOND. On Easter Sunday, our well pump gave out unexpectedly. After reaching out to several local companies with no luck, I received a direct text from Dan and Eli at Friot’s. Dan was at my home within the hour to assess the issue and confirmed the pump needed to be replaced. After taking a short break for Easter brunch, he returned and completed the replacement—restoring our water the same day. The level of service, responsiveness, and professionalism they showed was exceptional. Friot’s has truly set the standard for outstanding customer care and workmanship. From the very first consultation when we purchased our home, Dan & Eli demonstrated a rare combination of professionalism, transparency, and deep industry knowledge. We have been Friot customers since we moved into our current house in 2002. The company has provided excellent service for our 35-year-old well and water treatment system, but our mineral-filled water was sporadically causing the system to clog, and we finally decided that it was reaching the end of its useful life. Dan came out personally to survey our system, assessed what types of improvements were possible and then gave us several options at different price points. Given our system's age, we opted to go for a two-reservoir system with two filtering stages as well as a reverse-osmosis (RO) system for drinking water. While I had expected that we'd have to wait for them to order parts, Friot came out and installed our new system within a week. During the installation process, Friot discovered that our well pump was about to fail and were able to replace that as well (Friot just added well pump maintenance to their service). The result is that we now have excellent water quality throughout the house, better water pressure, and a state of the art RO system for drinking water. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we're pleased to be continuing with a local business that isn't part of a giant chain company. We highly recommend Friot to anyone who is looking to improve the quality of their water supply.

Prompt and great service! Communicated well and answered all our questions. They even replaced our previous RO water filter system since it was no longer supported without charging us!

Amazing service and exceptional results. First, Friot's replaced our whole-house water conditioning system. Cost was reasonable, set-up is well-organized, and our water quality went from occasionally awful to consistently great. Second, we had an issue during a torrential rain with snow still on the ground, resulting in flooding through a conduit from our well pump into our house. I called them very early expecting to leave a message – but they answered and were onsite within 15 minutes and fixed the issue quickly. Strongly recommend them.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I have truly never had a better experience with a company than Friot's. Eli and the team there went above and beyond with helping me determine a problem I was having with my Bubble-Up system. Eli went out of his way to help me determine what exactly the problem was for days on end, all at no cost. He helped guide me through by taking time out of his own day to FaceTime me and point out the possible problems I was having and sure enough, he found the problem right away. If I were to go through any other company, I would never have had this level of help and surely would have been charged an insane fee. I cannot thank them enough, and cannot recommend a better company to install/help you with your water needs. This truly is a one of a kind company that truly does value their customers.
