Freedom The Custom Shop

I was very impressed by multiple key points with my experience here. The shop is full of eye candy, if you need inspiration or ideas you can just walk in and look around and see a lot of things already made to choose from if you're looking for a gift. There were two gentlemen on my first visit and the one that helped me was very easy to talk to. I can be indecisive and get decision fatigue but he did not seem to get annoyed with me or lose patience. Both gentlemen were able to work with me as I shared the request I made and was able to ask for adjustments to the graphic that I wanted designed. I thought it was very interesting how they have the computer set up facing the customer so you can see the layout of your image or design while they are working on it for you. I was able to have adjustments made in real time while they were setting it up. Once the design was finalized it took about 20 minutes to prepare it and it took about 2 seconds to apply it to the hoodie I was purchasing. I was very impressed by every part of my experience and look forward to possibly getting other custom designs and gifts made in the future. When I got home and began to actually inspect the shirt a little more closely and look forward to who I would be giving it to, I noticed a very small hole in the back of the hood where the tag is. I did not want to let a lot of time go by between discovering this and reaching out to them so I used the email address that I was given to send my graphic to, so that I could give them a heads-up and request that if possible, I would be back the next day to have it replaced. I did not expect to get a reply within minutes the same evening but they did respond right away. I was told that it would not be a problem and that I could come back in and they would take care of it. So I will be back later today and we will see what happens. As of right now though I feel very good about this and I will edit this review later with the final results.

Let’s start with the fact that I never set foot in the shop initially. I sent a email with what I wanted.. A hour later I was sent proofs. Made a few adjustments and like that it was done. It went so well that I immediately ordered a different design for a different business. Emails are answered faster than most people text. I gave him free roam on the design and he got it right the FIRST time both times. I will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

Freedom is hands down the best custom shop around! I’ve ordered T-shirts and sweatshirts. Every single time the work has been excellent. The turnaround time is impeccable—they are always on time and deliver exactly what they promise. Huge shout out to Kevin at Freedom for the professionalism and top-notch customer service. If you need custom work done right and on schedule, Freedom is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I'm sorry it took so long for me to post this. This store definitely came in clutch with the last minute presents! The owner and his wife were really, nice and down to earth people. Made the decision process easier than I expected. I was able to customize a hat and not feel rushed or I was going to take what HE want to give me. I will absolutely be back to shop again!

We were in the mall today for something different and a few shirts on display caught our eye. The gentleman running the shop was very helpful. The shirt we wanted was pressed and complete in less than 10 minutes. Quality is very nice and service was efficient. We will be back.

Highly recommend coming to this shop for custom tshirts, especially if you need plus sized tourist shirts! I had came to Freedom looking for some last minute visitor/tourist T-shirts for my family who was visiting. While many stores in the Charlotte area have tourist t-shirts, the challenge is finding stores that carry over a size 2X. However, Freedom carries over a 5X which was a please suprised compared to some other stores we visited earlier in the day. I didn’t get her name, but this blonde haired woman couldn’t have been more helpful despite the steadiness of customers the store. She let us look at multiple t-shirt sizes to decide what would be best fit for my family (which one of them was not there in person). She showed us the options for colors of tshirts and the CLT/NC T-shirt designs and color options for the shirts. She was very patient while I was FaceTiming my family back home to let them pick their designated shirt size, color, and print. Once we chose the shirts and designs, they were made on the spot in about 5 minutes. Again, I will definitely be back in the future for the options of t-shirt sizes, colors, and designs as well as the excellent customer service. This place was a lifesaver!
