Whats a seepage pit? A septic seepage pit is a large hole in the ground that receives wastewater from a septic tank and gradually releases it into the soil. Although this type of leach drainage is not common in #fairfaxcounty, it was installed on properties with limited options for a drain field after extensive soil studies.
