Frayed Up Fishing Charters

Prior to coming to Anna Marie Island I made a post on social media looking for the best captain in the area and I received several responses to book with Frayed Up fishing charters. Jake surely lived up to his charter name "Frayed Up" we had a party of 4 adults and one 5 year old and had multiple times that we were all hooked up with fish and fraying that line with big bull reds and trophy size snook!!! Jake is a excellent captain having fresh baits and was very patient with my son and the other inexperienced anglers on the boat. He made sure we had the full experience of the fishery and didn't waste our time with sight seeing. It was a constant catching session! I will definitely be booking with Jake again in the future and cannot recommend him enough for an excellent CATCHING trip!!

My family and I recently booked Captain Jake on an in shore fishing trip during Thanksgiving week. We caught lots of snook and trout but unfortunately didn’t get any keepers so we had to buy dinner that night 🤣. We had such a great time that we booked Captain Jake for a near shore trip a couple days later and he did not disappoint. We caught snapper, grouper, hogfish, grunts, and various other fish. Plenty for dinner and even some to bring home! This was my daughter’s first real fishing experience and she had a blast. Captain Jake was very attentive and made sure she had a great experience. I would absolutely recommend Captain Jake for your next fishing trip in the Anna Maria Island area!
