I originally chose Frank’s Painting based on their positive Google reviews. When I met with the owner, Frank, he was very pleasant, and we decided to hire them to paint a few rooms in our house. The price wasn’t cheap, but I expected that paying for professional service would mean receiving professional-quality work.
However, after we booked, I never saw Frank again. I assumed he would be there when the job started to review details with his crew, but he wasn’t. Any communication via text afterward was brief and dismissive. The crew did an okay job—not terrible, but certainly not what I expected given the price.
The bathroom, in particular, was done so poorly that we had them come back to redo it. To Frank’s credit, he did agree to have them return the next day. However, even after the second attempt, the work was subpar. The pictures I posted are from AFTER they redid it—you can see they didn’t even bother to remove the outlet covers, just painted around them (and not well).
I also paid for an additional wall to be painted a few weeks later, but despite multiple texts to the owner, I haven’t received any response about scheduling it.
Overall, the quality of work was decent but nowhere near the level I expected for the price. The lack of communication and attention to detail was disappointing.
If I were to do it again, I would hire a painter who personally handles the work—someone who not only discusses the project with me but also does the painting themselves. Lesson learned on my end.
