Highly recommend this local business, we have used them for many years and the product quality and service have been consistently exceptional. Pieces framed years ago look as good today as they did when they were originally framed and are worth the investment. They have a huge selection at all price points, including a sale/pre-made pile for the budget conscious. But what makes me return and recommend them to others is the service. At our last visit we were fortunate to have Shelly assist us and she made the process so much fun. She gave us recommendations for frame colors and backing as to optimally highlight each picture and was able to provide budget friendly alternatives. We had a time sensitive piece and the communication regarding lead time was awesome. The price is fair for the high product quality, service, and overall experience. Bonus: they have the sweetest office dog.

I needed two custom cut pieces of glass and the kind people at Frame Shop at Lakeside cut them while I waited. It was less than ten minutes from arrival to have my custom cut glass! Everyone was friendly and helpful. No waiting for custom cut glass when other places gave us long wait times! Highly recommended!

After moving from Boston I was looking for a shop to frame art. The service, knowledge and support at "Frame Shop at Lakeside" was amazing. For this particular piece Hannah found a frame which played with the structure of the ibis' horns and we are very happy about the result. Transportation required some improvisation... "Frame Shop at Lakeside" is a fun place I can highly recommend. Very high quality work for even the finest pieces of art.

I can't say enough good things about this shop! When there are scenarios that call for professional frame jobs (and not just cheap craft store frames) they knock it out of the park every time. Worried about budget? They can also get creative with their sale/pre-made/and scrap piles and you'd never know because of how good the final product turns out!

Can't say enough good things about my experience so far. I went in with a 30x24 signed print I just purchased from a queer artist, Anthony Hurd (the print is a quaint photo of two men embracing in a desert landscape). It's a beautiful piece and deserves to be professionally framed. However, in the current climate, I am always nervous to be openly queer in public. And I was definitely nervous to bring in a very obviously LGBT representative piece in to get framed from a business I've never been to before. However, Addison was amazing. She recognized the artist (very cool!) and helped me every step of the way choosing a mat and a frame. She was very thoughtful when picking out options to choose colors and tones that would compliment my print. I am very excited for the final product. Addison made me feel confident that it will turn out beautifully!

First experience using a professional frame shop and they did not disappoint. Highly professional and helped me find just the right frame material with colors to highlight the portrait. The finished product is amazing! I highly recommend The Frame Shop to anyone looking for that perfect frame.

We went to the Reno Frame Shop to frame and glass a new signed print, and to re-glass a signed print from the same artist. After consulting with the shop about the appropriate glass to use, we settled on an upgraded glass to mitigate reflections in our house where the pictures would be hung. The glass didn’t work to mitigate the reflections in any material way. We went back to the shop and they worked with us through several more glass options until we found the best one to mitigate the reflections and still show off the art. The shop stayed the course with us, and it is clear that “customer satisfaction” is a paramount concern of the shop - from the owner to the staff. We are delighted with the results, and couldn’t be more pleased with the service and product we received.

I purchased a round canvas art piece that I wanted framed, but searching online for a round frame, to the exact specs needed, with the aesthetic I wanted quickly turned into a headache. Some Google searching later I decided to have it framed locally, and the results are beyond what I had anticipated. The staff is friendly and great at their work. I greatly appreciate their efforts and will be back when I'm able to purchase more artwork to be framed. 😊
