Founding Farmers Reston Station

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, and the service truly made the night. Susan was outstanding. Easily some of the best service I’ve had anywhere. She was knowledgeable, confident with her recommendations, and absolutely nailed every suggestion. She did not steer me wrong with the peanut butter chocolate pie, which was unreal, or the chimichanga steak with the chicken enchiladas, both were excellent. What really stood out was how attentive and proactive Susan was. I never had to wait for anything. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. Every dish was great, everything came out perfectly timed, and the whole experience felt effortless. If you’re dining here, ask for Susan. She elevates the entire restaurant.

Best Founding Farmers I have been to yet. I have been to a few in the DMV but this one so far has topped them all. The food was great and the drinks as well. Our waiter was amazing and definitely made the experience more enjoyable. We tried a few small dishes while we chatted about this and that. We ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes, Skillet Cornbread & Honey Butter (which was not dry 😏), and the massive meatball. So good can’t remember the name of that bad boy haha. We also sampled a bit of their seasonal cocktail menu which had an amazing selection. Top three are the top three to choose from in that order. I really enjoyed coming here. I kinda always thought the Founding Farmers that I went to before were good but nothing to run home and tell your neighbors about. This one is it. Definitely the best one and on point. Absolutely coming back.

Founding Farmers is always a great experience. The food is consistently fresh and well prepared, with a menu that has something for everyone — whether you’re there for brunch, lunch, or dinner. Everything tastes thoughtfully made and comforting without feeling basic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and service has always been attentive and professional. It’s a reliable spot I’m happy to recommend and return to.

Gomez was amazing at founding farmers Reston Station! Super knowledgeable about all the dishes best personality! Atmosphere was everything! Food 10 out of 10 all the way around party of six and we all agree! Highly recommend when you go to founding fathers resting station as for Gomez! You will not be disappointed you’re welcome in advance!

Thank you Michael for providing me with an exceptional time. I don’t have to worry about the quality of food when I go to a restaurant but as a former server.. something you get nervous about who is going to provide your experience. Food was top notch as per usual but Michael was personable and efficient. I am pregnant and had a complicated order and not once did I feel like I was being judged (you’d be surprised how often that happens with my craving requests)

I have been coming to Founding Farmers regularly over the past couple of weeks, and every visit is made better thanks to Alyssa and John behind the bar. They always greet me warmly, make thoughtful recommendations on all the Happy Hour specials, and their attentiveness really stands out. Both are personable, professional, and make you feel like a valued guest every time. The consistency of their service keeps me coming back. Huge shoutout to Alyssa and John for creating such a great experience at the bar!

Went for Sunday brunch. Our server, Gomez, was excellent! He was friendly, efficient , and attentive. The food was good, but there was no biscuits and gravy (husband’s favorite), and some of the food (for example, fried chicken) could have used a bit more seasoning/marination. The atmosphere was delightful ! I LOVED the beautiful tea service, and appreciated the cloth napkins and, overall more upscale atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

My waiter, Kevin was awesome! His recommendations were fantastic! He recommended the devil-ish eggs, the homemade soda, and the spatchcock chicken. All were bangers! I'll be back for sure.

Visiting the area for a conference and dined here on a recommendation. Fantastic experience. The food was delicious and unique and such a treat. Michael was so attentive and took the best group photos - I highly recommend in front of the flower wall.

First time here, brought my daughter out for her birthday. We were seated immediately, no wait time. Great staff, Kevin was our waiter, nothing but kudos to him. He served us with politeness, took our orders correctly, kept coming back to take care of us and see if we needed anything, and helped us sing happy birthday as she cut her cake. 10/10 for him. A great asset to the restaurant. Food was excellent, hot, and consistent. Great location and we definitely will get back out there soon....
