The tornado that ripped through Nashville and Middle Tennessee early Tuesday morning has left many homes, neighborhoods, businesses, and families devastated. The damage to affected areas is severe, leaving many injured, homeless, and thousands without power.

Per Nashville Mayor Cooper, below are the preferred methods for donating time, money and immediate needs:
**To volunteer your time, sign up with Hands On Nashville at https://www.hon.org/opportunity/a0C1H00001asG2t.
**To donate money, visit the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee as they have activated the Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund, online at https://cfmt.org.
**To donate everything EXCEPT clothing, stop by Community Resource Center, located at 218 Omohundro Pl, Nashville, TN 37210. IMMEDIATE NEEDS INCLUDE: cleaning supplies (trash bags, work gloves, bleach, cleansers), personal hygiene items (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant), and diapers.
The United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties is offering a giving opportunity to help affected areas.
