After years of trusting them with my car I can honestly say that they care about every person who comes to them. I think it's a toss-up whether they love cars or people more! They never miss an opportunity to take the best possible care of my car, and by extension my family. I've used other Orange County mechanics in the past and there is no one as trustworthy and capable as the team at Foothill Auto!

What a great team at Foothill Auto. I brought in my 2024 BMW 330i for brake service when a brake warning light illuminated on the instrument display and the main screen showing brake pads were worn and needed replacing. The front office (Jay) was excellent in communicating with me throughout the entire process, informed me that new vehicles require not only brake pad replacement but rotor replacement at the same time as they can’t be machined any longer because of their thinness. This indeed is true upon my further research into the matter, as I was of the notion that these could be resurfaced if need be without a full replacement. In older vehicles this may still be the case. A routine oil and tire rotation was also performed as the vehicle was due for that service. They obtained genuine BMW parts, performed the service expeditiously and were in constant communication throughout the entire process On top of it all the pricing was competitive. So lucky to have found a reputable and honest auto repair shop.

Guys are the best! We use them for all our vehicles and so does my mother in law, we trust them with our classic Chevys!

I came in towards closing hours on Friday because my right mirror needed to be fixed (backed up in the garage too fast oops). I really needed it to be fixed because I needed my car. My husband and I walked in and we were greeted by Byron so friendly. He took a look and was willing to give it a shot, not knowing how long it would take. After just 30 minutes, Byron came back with the car with the mirror perfectly fixed! Not only that, his team also removed some other scratches on my car that had been there for a while. If this isn’t above and beyond service, I don’t know what is. Byron is absolutely the best and I’m so grateful. My husband and I recently moved to the area and found this place on a whim but we are now certain that we will be exclusively coming here in the future. If you’re looking for car service with a team that’s friendly, professional, and will pay attention to detail, this is THE PLACE!!

A group of professional, helpful, and genuine people. From the moment you drop off your car through the call to come pick it up, you're given plenty of information, updates, and (if you want) advice on what should be handled first. They can also shuttle you to and from the shop! The team did a fantastic job with my 2015 Corolla and gave me a full Vehicle Inspection Report so I know what to focus on next visit. Foothill Auto Service genuinely cares and understands the value of transparency with their customers. Another shop told me told how urgent it is to handle particular services right away, only to be shown by Foothill Auto Service how that's not the case at all and clarifying some misinformation given to me. I understand the purpose of a business is to sell more services and repairs, but lying about an urgency just to get more sales is disheartening when you want shops you can rely on and continue to work with. I'm thankful I found the Foothill team. I can trust them completely with my vehicle and know it and I are in good hands. Byron is also a pleasure to work with. His professionalism and personality are great representations of the team. He'll get you all sorted with what you need and makes sure to answer all of your questions. I don't recall the gentleman who gave me a ride in the shuttle, but he was great company and taught me a lot of the history of Lake Forest. Makes the drives to and from real quick when you're having such an engaging conversation. Thanks again to the team for the wonderful work and their craftsmanship. A few months ago the gas in my Honda Civic stopped working. I never had that issue before, read about it, went to different car repair shops for prices, etc…Foothill Auto was the only place that took the time to explain the issue and the repair process. I left the car, was driven home and picked up when car was done. Car works fine and I was impressed with the pricing, but more with the patience and courtesy. Fast forward to this week. Car displayed B1 maintenance which meant oil service, tire rotation, brake check and many other. I didn’t need to search auto shops again. I took it to Foothill Auto. As usual the repair was done as indicated, again ride back and pickup were done, and again i was impressed with their courtesy and customer service which exceeds any other business i dealt with before. I gave them 5 stars and they deserve each of those stars. If your car needs repair, don’t hesitate and take it to Foothill Auto.

Foothill Auto Service center did a fantastic job and diagnosing my problem with my vehicle with air suspension system not kind of looking for other possible things that could go wrong. Jay technician and advisor very good in communicating with me on the process of the actual maintenance work and the time frame of my vehicle & when it would be finished.. 5 stars

Foothillhill Auto Service was able to accommodate me as a walk in and ran an diagnostic. They did a great job with the repair. Overall service experience is very important for Foothill Auto Service and that shows. Everything was straightforward, clear, transparent and a simple experience. I highly recommend.

They did fantastic service on my emission control system. The "check engine" light was on and prevented me from getting a SMOG Certificate. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a full written report, gave me a detailed quote, and did the work they proposed for the price they quoted. SMOG check: Done. Registration: Renewed. Their front office man, Byron, was great. Even the drivers who took me to and from the shop were professional and pleasant.
