Floor Coverings International - Waukesha

Three time repeat customer. That should tell you all you need to know! We’ve had them sand and refinish floors, do whole house lvp and a total stair remodel. Each job is perfection. We had glen and art for the last two and they’re incredible. Glen is a magician. He was able to give me the staircase of my dreams when others said it couldn’t be done. He took the time to piece things together like a puzzle and the outcome was everything I hoped for. I can’t recommend them enough.

We got new flooring for our entire 4-bedroom second floor and a carpet runner on our stairs. We had a great experience with Floor Coverings International Waukesha. Our Design Associate Dann really helped us with selecting our flooring, and was willing to answer questions throughout the project. Our installers Glenn and Art were truly craftsmen. They were efficient and paid attention to every detail. The floors look great!

EDIT - while Dave the sales guy was great to work with, the quality of work was very disappointing. Our floors have several areas that feel uneven & we had tacks sticking out of the carpet that they had to come back to fix also. We originally were charged $1,600 for subfloor prep which they did bring down to just $900, but we would have much rather have had it done correctly. With two dogs in the house, it’s not easy for us to have guys working in there redoing it. Part of our tile in our bathroom was also chipped when they came to hammer the tacks on the carpet in. Definitely not the quality you expect when you pay around $15,000 to get your floors redone, especially since this is our first home.

Excellent service, they helped us find exactly what we were looking for in our bedroom and were able to install very quickly for us. Phone staff was great and Matt was very transparent with all of our inquiries-- will definitely be getting carpet through them again!

What a great experience from start to finish. Dann, my salesperson was easy to work with & caught all the little details that I didn’t know to ask about (like new corner round) & probably would not have liked at the end of the project if it wasn’t addressed. Abby did a marvelous job of keeping me informed about who, why & when various people would be coming to my home & sent me a detailed email with all of the details after we scheduled everything. Justin & Gema called when they were on their way and installed my floors beautifully. They were accommodating with special requests, like ‘can I vacuum out the dryer vent since you’ve got it pulled out’. The thing that really sets Floor Coverings International apart is the lack of surprises & major bumps in the road that I’ve experience with other home services contractors. They are customer oriented in every department, not just when the salesperson is trying to get me to buy. I felt like a valued customer in every single interaction….and my new floors are beautiful.

We love our new vinyl flooring from Floor Coverings International! It looks so lovely. The installers new what they were doing and had to install a new subfloor as the old one was warped. They were all hard-working guys and did a fantastic job. We especially appreciated our salesman, as he had a no-pressure approach and stuck to the facts about the particular choices we could make and their costs. The price was reasonable compared to another quote we received, and that other sales rep was a little hard-sell as well, which we didn't appreciate. Overall, FCI has quality materials, a fair price, and a great work ethic. We can't be more pleased!

Working with Melissa was just a great experience for us. She was on top of every detail, and eased all of our concerns since this was a large, difficult, insurance job. We met and worked with Matt, the owner, and he was great. They helped us pick out the perfect floor. Glenn, our installer was a perfectionist, and anything I pointed out, he eased my concerns and made it right. I am so grateful that we ended up working with FCI in Waukesha after our kitchen flood caused tens of thousands in flooring damage to our home. They were a silver lining in our story.
