12 of us stayed there for a birthday weekend and absolutely loved it there. From planning it to when we left James was there to help and guide us all the way making the whole experience even better. We all loved it Thank you James, it was a pleasure to meet you.

Lovely house. Well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was lovely. Outside space was beautiful. We enjoyed using the games room and the boating lake. Great hosts!

A wonderful property in lovely countryside. We had booked both houses to accommodate our party of 22 to celebrate an 85th birthday. The place was suitable for all of our party aged from 3 to 85. The facilities in both houses and in the grounds were excellent and very safe for young children. We visited Totnes, about 20 minutes away, although much of it on very narrow lanes. We also went to Blackpool Sands beach as well as to Dartmouth for a boat trip up the River Dart. Our hosts, Sarah & James, were very accommodating with our extra requirements. We thoroughly recommend these properties.

This was a great holiday for us. We travelled as a group. Sarah and James were incredibly helpful from the time of booking until and after we left. Location is fantastic and fully surrounded by nature. You can see clear sky, listen to water flowing in the grounds and birds chirping. Large barn has now fantastic wifi all over the place. Small lake, games room, hot tubs, tree house and large grounds are boon and fun for children and dogs alike. Lots of facility for barbecue and evening fire have been provided. Inside fantastic traditional fire while enjoying music, TV and talks was great. Location is close to fine beaches, falls, Totnes China blue. Sainsbury’s deliver to the address and Sarah made sure this was ok to receive even before we arrived. Surfing beaches and classes nearby too. Overall great Devon holiday.

We had a wonderful time at Fletchers Combe house and barn. We had booked both properties for a birthday celebration. Having the big barn and smaller house proved perfect as those who didn't have children (or were lucky enough to arrange childcare) could stay in the peace and quiet of the house whilst the kids had the run of the barn. We have stayed at many properties of this size for birthday events and Fletchers Combe is the best by far in terms of amenities, the amazing views, the quality of the rooms and the generous hosts. Sarah and James (hosts) checked daily to ensure we had everything we needed and even gave us an extra bottle of prosecco! I would thoroughly recommend this property to a group of 10 or more people.

A gorgeous cottage to celebrate a BIG birthday with my family. The house and location is even more beautiful in reality. All communication with Sarah prior to our holiday was perfect. We loved the house and had fun in the games room and hot tub. The children enjoyed sitting in the little boat on the pond and my son in laws even dared a short swim in it 😱 My daughters arranged with Sarah to check in slightly early and decorated the cottage with balloons and banners to surprise me on arrival too👌❤️ Loved Fletcher's Combe (and so did our cocker spaniel Bo) x

Beautiful setting. Bedrooms tastefully furnished although marred by cobwebs. Quality fixtures and fittings. Well equipped kitchen but on the small side relative to the size of the house and the numbers accommodated. It's also not easy cooking for 14 people when the main oven on the cooker is not working. Looking at previous reviews, this seems to be a longstanding problem. We had a wonderful time and these things are small niggles which didn't spoil our enjoyment of our stay in a lovely part of Devon.

We have just spent Christmas at Fletcher's Coombe Barn. There were 9 adults, a 3 year old, 2 x 2 year olds, a 6 month old baby and 3 dogs. We had the most amazing time and will definitely return. The children loved the play equipment and the tree house whilst the adults loved the hot tub and evenings sat outside by the fire pit. The barn is very well equipped and lovely, warm and cosy. Sarah and James were brilliant hosts and responded very quickly to our questions about the wifi and the heating. All in all, a fabulous Christmas we will remember for a long time and many happy memories made.

Our group have been coming here every year for 11 years now. It's a home from home and the kids (who are no longer kids) are starting to bring their partners along, too. Our visit in 2019 will include a new baby too. In fact, we've got so many people this time, we're booking both the barn and the house together! The wonderful beaches at Blackpool Sands, Bigbury, Thurlestone, Hope Cove and Bantham are all 25-45 minutes drive away. We go in convoy because it means any on-coming traffic usually gives way. The living rooms are all huge and the kitchen, well stocked with everything you need. Not every room is en suite, but there are enough bathrooms to go around. Over 11 years, we've seen changes to the contents of the games barn, patio furniture, mattresses and sofas. Everything is comfortable and serviceable. We all look forward to our annual trip to Fletchers. It's fab.

Very poor WiFi. In one room only. Speed 1.x mbps. Other rooms glimmers occassionaly. James and Sarah have been very helpful, WIFI is restored around the house. We all enjoyed the HOTTUB immensely and I saw a Grouse from the bedroom window in the lawns below.
