Flatonia Glamping Resort & RV Park

We had such a great time at Flatonia Retreat & RV Resort! The cabin was super cozy and felt like a little home away from home. We loved grilling at the BBQ area and hanging out by the lake—it was so relaxing. The kid play zone was a huge hit, and it made the trip easy since the kids were always entertained. Overall, it was the perfect mix of relaxing and family fun. Can’t wait to come back!

Great park close to town and an easy drive from Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Lots to do in the area! Reserved for 3 nights in our RV but decided to stay a 4th. The sites are gravel but level, good spacing between sites and there are some small shade trees scattered around. We loved the farm feel with the petting zoo! The rates are very reasonable and the best part was the free laundry (at least I think the machines were meant for guests lol). Dennis made our stay great!

Great stay! The room was clean and comfy, and we loved the pond for fishing and paddle boating. Feeding the chickens, bunny, and goats was such a fun touch. The grilling station made meals easy and enjoyable. Perfect mix of comfort and nature—highly recommend!

Just checked out and already dreaming about when we can go back. It was the perfect little getaway with my husband—not too far of a drive, but it felt secluded and peaceful, like we were way off the grid (in the best way). From the moment we checked in, the two ladies at the front made us feel like we were old friends—super sweet and genuinely welcoming. The grounds were clean and clearly well cared for, and the BBQ area by the pond? Adorable. Hanging lights in the oak tree, tiki torches, benches—it felt like a Pinterest board in real life. We stayed in one of the domes, and it was even better than the pictures. The bed was actually comfortable (shocking, I know), the towels and bedding were high quality, and everything was spotless. They even had a little tray of “oh no, I forgot that” items—lifesaver, considering we both forgot our toothbrushes. It’s the little things, and they really nailed it. And yes, it rained almost the whole time. Did it ruin the trip? Not even close. Still had the best time. If you’re thinking about booking—do it. Rain or shine, this place is magic.

We relaxed by the peaceful lakeside, grilled some great BBQ, played music, and just enjoyed the fresh air. The kids had a blast playing soccer and feeding the chickens and goats — they were all smiles the whole time! We stayed in the “Tesla House,” which looked super cool and was incredibly comfortable — stylish, clean, and perfect for a couple of relaxing days. The whole place has a laid-back vibe and plenty of space to unwind or explore. Highly recommend for families, couples, or groups looking to disconnect and enjoy nature. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A Perfect Destination for Families and Groups I recently visited this location and was thoroughly impressed by the beautiful scenery and the variety of games available for kids. It's an ideal spot for family vacations, close friends, or team-building activities. The space is clean and tidy, and the staff's warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. If I have the chance to vacation again, this will definitely be my choice.

We had a great family and friends retreat here! Kids enjoyed petting and playground. The place has beautiful tree next to the lake where people can do camping. Cabins are clean and comfortable. Great for family with kids and for hosting events!

Dennis was a fantastic host! He communicated clearly, and host this place in immaculate condition. It was a pleasure staying at his resort I appreciated how smoothly everything went. I highly recommend Flatonia Retreats and RV Resort to everyone. I would be back next time!
