Five Star Towing

Absolute criminal pricing and enforcement by Boise state police and all the towing companies affiliated. Apparently it’s not mandatory for the towing companies to notify Boise police about what car they tow. It’s also not a 24/7 service. It should be illegal for towing companies to tow a car if they don’t answer the phone! I watched two blocks of cars get towed after a hockey game. This punishes hard working Americans. It’s a joke that they tow a car less than two hours after it was supposedly not supposed to be there. I guess they need to make room for all the drunks to get Ubers. Like I said it just punishes the hard working Americans. Please answer your stupid phone at least if you take my car!

The irony of their name! 1 star is generous. The driver raged at me after I merged in front of him after me signaling for at least 5 seconds. He flipped me the bird and nearly hit me in passing. So I just wanted to return the bird to that horrible driver. Avoid these guys - at least this driver if you can.

Sketchy, dirty, outrageously priced one star is generous! 17 cars were towed on the same night same street as mine. There obviously is a "legal" racketeering job going on downtown Boise Main St! Avoid this business at all cost!! And downtown Boise

It's painfully obvious that their entire business model revolves around preying on people in vulnerable situations—whether it's a breakdown, accident, or parking violation—and then squeezing every last dime out of them. The staff spends their days bickering with distressed customers, showing zero empathy or professionalism. Instead of owning up to their exploitative practices, they deflect blame onto "the city" or regulations, as if that excuses their behavior. This lack of pride in their work is evident everywhere. The office is an absolute disaster: cluttered, filthy, and falling apart at the seams. Papers strewn about, dust accumulating on every surface, and an overall rundown vibe that screams neglect. Even the employees look utterly miserable, like they're trapped in a soul-crushing cycle of negativity. If you have any choice in the matter, steer clear. There are better, more ethical towing services out there that treat customers like humans, not cash cows. This place embodies everything wrong with the industry.

My vehicle was impounded, my fault. I knew I'd have to jump it and put the spare on in order to drive it away from the lot so I was mentally prepared for that work. Casey went way out of his way to help us charge the battery, fill brake fluid, change tire... We woulda been there so much longer and been so much more frustrated if it weren't for him, if we ever even got it driving. Thanks Casey, you didn't have to help so much, we really appreciate it.

Made a hiccup but everyone was polite heard some funny stories from a gentleman and didnt waste time
