Every time I go in, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience feels smooth and stress-free. Doug is absolutely amazing at what he does. He truly takes the time to listen to what’s going on with your body instead of rushing through the appointment. I always feel heard, and he focuses on exactly the areas where I need help the most. His adjustments have made such a difference for me, and I leave feeling so much better every time. Five Oaks is the best place to go for your chiropractic needs. The scheduling is very flexible and they’ve always been very accommodating especially with last minute appointments. The staff is all very friendly, and Dr. Gunderson is very good at talking through the details and listening to your concerns. I have felt and been able to see the progress made throughout my time there!

I’ve been going to Five Oaks for about 9-10 months since moving to Ames. Dr. Doug is always very friendly and him and his staff always great you and are very professional. I can almost always get an appt in a day or two and has always worked me in when I had more urgent matters going on as well. Id definitely recommend.

I’ve never been to a chiropractor before, and when I went to five Oaks chiropractor they were very nice. It made me very comfortable and explained what had to be done in a way that you could understand 10 out of 10 would recommend. They also did a great job working on my back. I had pulled a Muscle lifting a heavy object, and they were fast to get me in.

The doc is very good and he connects on a personal level with his patients. Management of pain is possible with the right doctor I know from personal experience
