Fisioterapia Kran

Just before coming down to Costa Rica from the US early this year, I tore the tendon of one of my hamstrings completely off the hip bone. We came to Costa Rica anyway, and I hoped to find somewhere to go for physical therapy. I found Fisioterapia Kran and it was exactly what I needed. I saw Fiorella there. She speaks excellent English (my Spanish isn't really up to talking about physical therapy issues), which was very helpful. What impressed me most about Fiorella was the detailed assessment she made each time we met - I felt that she really understood what was going on in my leg and how it was affecting everything else in my body. She really understands the anatomy and how it affects your biomechanics. With the treatments she used and the exercises she gave me, I was able to walk several kilometers within a few weeks, and was probably back to 80% of normal by the time I left 5 weeks later. We recently came back to Costa Rica (after four months away), and one of my priorities this time was to see Fiorella again for an updated assessment and rehabilitation plan! I can't thank her enough. Very highly recommended!

Fio helped me recover from a back injury, and has helped educate me on ways to prevent similar injury by exercising and stretching accordingly. I highly recommend this place for physical therapy.

Best physio I have experienced in Costa Rica. Fio is magical! Amazing knowledge about the body, and responsive to messages and inquiries. Found them when I was in a lot of pain and they accommodated me right away. I went regularly for a while and they really helped a shoulder injury/nerve pain recovery. Now I just like to go every couple of months just to get realigned and as regular body maintenance. Highly recommend.

Wow, where do I even begin? This place has been a God send to me. Living as an expat from the United States in Costa Rica and struggling with an injury (back/sciatic) can be overwhelming, but finding Fiorella and Johanna at Kran has changed my life. The care I received at this facility far outperforms what the United States offers. Their holistic approach really produced long term positive effects. Although dry needling can be uncomfortable it's TOTALLY worth the results. The facility is clean, comfortable, totally affordable, and Fiorella is fluent in English. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Fisioterapia Kran is nothing short of magic. Me and my family have gone to address several issues ranging from sports injuries to head/back/neck pain, etc. Each of my sessions with Fio has been pleasant, painless, and gets to the root cause of the issue. I am always surprised at how fast, effective and long-lasting the therapy works. The staff is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about their work, and they take great care to resolve your issue so that you can get back to your life free of pain. I highly recommend them!

Fio is a very honest, professional and reliable physiotherapist. She’s helped me with my neck/shoulder pain incl. migraine during the last year. She’s English speaking which helped my case too. Can only recommend!

Kran is awesome and Fio is the best physical therapist in town. She completely changed my life, I was done with my knee until I met her. She did her magic and I'm now able to do everything. Whether you have pain or no, I highly recommend you go for a check-up, you won't regret it!

Love the Pilates classes. Our teacher Johanna is great and gives each one of us a lot of attention. She genuinely cares about us getting better every time. Definitely recommend for anyone that has neck/back pain and for those that want to improve their strength, balance and coordination.
