I had a great time with Levon Gomez as my guide. We were on fish right away, and kept on them. We caught 25 or 30 good fighting beautiful fish, with a couple up to 16+ inches. As good a time as I've ever had with a fly rod. Levon is a wonderful guide and I also enjoyed our conversations. Thank you for the great time and experience on the San Juan River!

I had a great trip with Jack today. It had rained hard overnight and the water was a little cloudy but that didn’t matter as Jack had a magic black leach that the fish loved. There were many other boats around us but I don’t think anyone had the size or numbers of fish we boated.

Have fished with Jack several times. He put me on a PB 25in rainbow first trip and a PB 25 fish day last trip. Knowledgeable and dedicated to insuring his guests catch fish. Not afraid to fish a run multiple times to get the best out of the area and his guests. Dont let his dimutive size fool you, that boy can row. Lol. My only guide when I fish the San Juan. Already booking for next May.

Fishing with Jack was so much fun! He is so knowledgeable about fly fishing and the surrounding area! He taught us so much during our trip including techniques to perfect our casting and mending. It was a great learning experience and the perfect anniversary excursion for my husband and I. We can’t wait to work on our skills and come back to catch more fish with Jack! Jack was great! We had such a wonderful time fly fishing with him AND caught many fish. In fact, that day, there were many guides out and it seemed we were the only ones getting action! He was very patient and used his expertise to determine when to change weights and flys. Thanks Jack for a great time!

I’ve fished with Jack twice this year (2 half days). 1st trip was on April Fools day, but the weather was no picnic. That said - I learned some new casting techniques to fish in tight spots. Caught a good # of fish given the conditions and we ended up calling it at half a day (my call) due to the high winds, rain & sleet. 2nd trip this was with my daughter. Caught a lot of nice fish and it was a good call on his part to get there early and beat the crowds. Early bite was strong and we caught more fish than I could count. I’ve also fished with Jacob Deifenbaugh on 2 occasions and again it was an enjoyable (days) and we caught a lot of fish.
