First Steps was extremely accommodating with my schedule and short timeline. I received multiple recommendations of other companies and thankful I went with First Steps. Considering the service level and expertise, very affordable!

We had an awesome experience! Carlos and his partner Kevin took such great care of our valuables. One thing I’ll add (bc I think it was just THAT thoughtful of them) is that both movers removed their shoes EVERY TIME they walked on our new carpet. They were both professional and friendly. Company was efficient with our quote and payment communication. Would use their services again and will recommend.

In the past 12 months First Step Moving has moved a portion of our household goods from our home in one city to an apartment and storage unit in another city twice and finally moved it all into our new home in the second city in a third move. Christy Vincent is the owner and runs a well oiled machine-she communicates well, prices fairly, treats her employees humanely and compassionately. We were able to have Pedro twice as the move leader. He is knowledgeable, fluent in Spanish and English, has great customer service skills, treats his staff with respect, and runs a very orderly process. In the three moves we never suffered any damage, found the crew pleasant, hard working and courteous. They were about 30 minutes late arriving to our apartment for the first load because they traveled from McKinney across 380. Need I say more. It does not prevent me from giving a five star review. Our final total was a little higher than we thought due to the amount of stuff we had to move. As I said, we believe pricing is fair and the contract states quotes can changed based on changing variables. And that’s the final thing I’ll say-everything is in the contract we received and there were no surprises. Thank you Christy, Pedro and crew!

Very friendly and efficient! We had a huge moving job that required 2 trucks and 5 man crew. It took a little longer towards the end of the day than we anticipated but all in all, the experience was great and we would highly recommend them as well as use them again for a move!!

I used first step movers for the first time was referred to them everything was good til my new headboard was damaged doing the move I let the moving guy know about this damage I spoke with Christy she promised me the mover would repair it they moved me 2 weeks ago today I have emailed and called never got a call back about this and they scraped my hardwood floor by dragging my couch on the floor I will not recommend this company

First Step Moving provided an incredible moving experience! This is the second time I have used them. The owner is on top of everything. The packing crew was top notch and the moving crew was amazing!! They were careful, cautious and respectful. Went above and beyond to ensure everything wrapped and padded and taken apart if necessary to ensure it arrived as it left! I can’t say enough about my experience!! I highly recommend them… I have very high end furniture and had 100% confidence throughout the move! I will continue to use them as I know I will have at least one more move!

Christy is fantastic to communicate with, she really cared our moving experience and went above and beyond to take care of any concerns that we had! The movers were really professional, efficient and attention to details. Our moving day was pouring rain, and they still managed to keep furnitures dry and well protected.
