I had an emergency situation and contacted several plumbers. Some of them used AI voice chat, which unfortunately did not work as expected. Given that I provide digital services myself (AI voice and chatbot solutions), this was disappointing. Coming back to First Response — the experience was very positive. The support person was very courteous and easy to communicate with, and plumbers were arranged quickly. They arrived slightly late due to traffic, but they did an excellent job. The leak was fixed within an hour. Initially, they tried to resolve the issue with minimal work, and when that didn’t work, they replaced the tap. Everything was completed satisfactorily. First-class service from First Response. Well done.

Simply brilliant . I had a plumbing emergency at the worst possible time, and they were at my door incredibly fast. The engineer was professional, friendly, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He explained the problem in simple terms, fixed it quickly, and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. Their communication was excellent from start to finish, and the price was very reasonable for an emergency call-out. It’s such a relief to find a reliable company that genuinely cares about its customers. If you need a plumber in a hurry, this is the team you want. Absolutely five stars .

The plumber arrived quickly to fix a burst pipe and did an excellent job. He was very friendly, cooperative, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The repair was done efficiently and professionally. I highly recommend him for any future plumbing needs!

I contacted this company regarding a blocked outside drain that was causing the toilet to bubble and water to back up into the bath. I was charged a call-out fee, but no repair was carried out at that time. I was then quoted £400 to resolve the issue, which I declined as it seemed excessive. I later had another company attend who cleared the blockage for £150. During that visit, the second company advised that the cast-iron bolts securing the drain cover had been cut off during the original inspection, meaning the cover no longer seals properly and may leak. I contacted this company on Thursday to raise the issue and was told they would get back to me. As of Tuesday, I have received no response. I’m disappointed with the high quote, the damage left behind during the inspection, and the lack of follow-up when I raised the issue. I would not recommend this company.

They came within two hours of calling, and it's two days before Christmas. They quickly identified the problem, a leaking pipe under the sink - the water was causing floorboards to lift in the dining room. The problem has been fixed, and they have cleaned up the little mess they made. Would definitely recommend this company. Three weeks later and I'm still waiting to get the invoice/receipt for this job (which cost £439) so I can make an insurance claim!!

I could tell he had a ton of plumbing knowledge, he would walk me through everything he was doing and explain what and why he was doing what he was doing and was extremely patient. Wow! Super quick to get here, friendly, offered a good fair priced quote for the work that would need to be done to find the leak around my boiler system and pipes. Guys found the leak quickly and then quickly and showed me it it was behind kitchen cabinet. Cut out the damaged pipes and replaced making sure its well sealed. They cleared up any mess afterwards. I am one truly happy customer today im so glad I called them. Really pleasant mannered and friendly. I will return to them for new boiler, highly recommend them!!!!
