These are good people. They know what they're doing. The Owners are great and it's a family business. The guys in the shop are top notch mechanics. I had my Jeep re-geared with a full master-rebuild kit from Yukon Gear and the shop, threw in the Yukon, Nodular Iron Differential covers; for the SAME price, another shop wanted, without them. After the 500 mile break-in of the new gears, I changed the gear oil and there was only the normal amount of metal in the oil, that is always associated with new gears. With a fresh batch of oil, the gears are still nice and quiet after another 1,000 miles!
It's nice to spend your money, with people who know what they're doing!!! I asked them to look things over with the Jeep and give me an estimate of what they felt were important issues to address, in the future. They did, and the estimate is very reasonable!
Larry, (owner) showed me around the shop and walked me through their normal, transmission rebuild procedure and I think, it's as good, if not better, than anyone else in the business.
I'm an industrial mechanic with 35 years of experience, and I can tell when people are guessing and when they are knowledgeable about their trade. These are good people. They know their business. Larry, his wife Dawn and daughter Melissa, were a pleasure to meet and do business with! I'm very happy with my experience!
