Firelands Plumbing

Brian at Firelands plumbing isn't trustworthy! He created issues to increase the cost of the job knowing it's an Insurance claim. He told us the job will take 1-2 weeks, Max. He started around 2/4/2025, the job is still not finished. He refuses to complete his job since he collected all his money in full ( my biggest mistake for trusting him). He gave me his manly word. He gave us the run around and lied to us about coming out to complete the job. I am forced to take legal action and hire a ligit company to complete the job he started. Never hire this company to do any work for you.

Was very happy with the service we received. We will be using FP in the future. Guys were very courteous and explained what was going on..I felt bad because it wasn't a pleasant job to have to do!

August 13th 2024 Firelands Plumbing came out to replace our shower unit and water pipes in our basement.John was very professional, knowledgeable and understanding! Great service over the years they have given our family.

I had Firelands plumbing fix a leaking toilet and within 9 months the toilet was leaking again same spot where they replaced the wood. They would not return my calls, and they did not guarantee their work. They charged $1800 the first time and wanted to charge $9500 for the exact same estimate. I would not trust your home or rental properties to this business under any circumstances. I called a minimum of 10 times and asked to have a manager or the owner call me and never received a call.

Totally satisfied with the service provided from this company. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone with plumbing issues big or small. The estimate was free and reasonable for what we needed repaired. The technician was knowledgeable kind and left a job well done and also referred a contractor to finish the interior damage who was just as knowledgeable and efficient as he was. Was a wonderful experience after a stressful plumbing problem. They made me feel at ease knowing they was the professional I needed. Will call again in future and refer to family and friends too. We used fireland Plumbing today they responded VERY quickly with a drain issue and water in basement. They used a camera and a high power water pressure machine to figure out the problem highly recommended they were very skilled and communicated well being we were NOT there at the house at the time.

Mark from Firelands Plumbing came out, assessed the issues, and completed the job on the same day. There were a couple of issues through the company and Mark went above and beyond to solve the issues so I could have the install done. Mark was professional, kind, and very well-informed about the job at hand. I would recommend him and the company over and over again!

Terrible company. Terrible owner!! Definitely would not recommend!!! Only positive light is Andrea and she deserves a better boss. In response to the company comment. My issue is not fixed...it is exactly the same as before. I have another company coming next week. I will gladly send you the receipt so you can refund me as you stated. Thank you for trying to make things right. Update: he refused any kind of refund....I had to take him to court and he straight lied through his teeth!!! Stay far far away from this lying crook!!!

If you’re looking for a good plumber for projects like installing a new kitchen sink faucet and garbage disposal, stop and call Firelands! Shout-out to John, he was very thorough and in my opinion is good people, I hope they keep him employed here for a while. He made sure to accommodate what we wanted instead of just up and installing however he felt like (as other plumbers have done and do!) This was stuff I can do but I decided I would rather not, so this was well worth the investment and peace of mind to have you guys do this. I’m sorry to hear others didn’t have such a great time with them, but I guess things happen. I didn’t have any issues with communication… they had to reschedule with me, but they kept in touch about it, so I’m not sure. I mean stuff happens, it’s as long as you communicate. Maybe they have improved. Anyhow, many thanks!!!

We found ourselves in total chaos mode on a Saturday evening. Our washing machine, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and tub ALL backed up after doing a load of laundry. After trying multiple companies, they all wanted to charge over $100 just to come out on a weekend emergency call, on top of whatever they would need to do, I came across SEVERAL wonderful reviews for Firelands Plumbing on. Wakeman community site, I decided to call them. I was lucky enough to get right through to the owner, and even though they don’t service vermilion much, he came right out to help us. It turned out our entire line system was riddled with tree roots. They had to completely blast them open, then clean them. Not only did they stay until they got the job entirely done, the price was beyond fair, and he gave us a two year warranty. Not only did those things impress me, but just the kindness and promptness he exercised in the midst of a very stressful situation with us. (And they didn’t mention my curious munchkins following them around.) Very prompt and neat, professional but personable, and best call we could have made. I’d give them 6 stars if I could. ❤️
