I was nervous to rent a boat as I have never driven one. But life is hectic with 5 kids and sports and appointments through the summer, A vacation was going to be tough this year. So we decided to spend a day at Keuka Lake. We contacted the team at Finger Lakes Watersports and scheduled Sunday the 23rd. The customer service from the first phone call was exceptional, and it continued throughout the process. The boat was perfect, not a speck wrong with it and easy to handle. It was easy to enter and exit the boat as we were concerned about a family member who doesn’t get around too well. She did great. I was paid in smiles Sunday and I couldn’t have had a better day. I would recommend you try this for yourself. This was not only my highlight of the summer but a highlight of my life and an experience none of us will ever forget. Thank you Finger lakes Watersports you exceeded the highest of expectations.

We used Finger Lakes Watersports for a 10 person bachelorette group. We were thrilled with our experience and had such an amazing time. I loved the large water mat & tubing was a blast. The water was a lovely 79 degrees & the scenery was beautiful. The boat was spacious & so nice. We were able to play our own music & even dock off at a local restaurant. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

I made reservations for a pontoon rental several months before we made a trip out to this area. I was very happy with the impeccable service and professionalism from the owners Geoff and Rena. From the very beginning, the communication was excellent, the pontoon was clean and ready to go for us, and the price was reasonable. And most important, this was the only company that allowed us to bring our dog on the pontoon.I highly recommend this company!

We had such an incredible experience with Finger Lakes Watersports for my cousin’s bachelorette this past weekend! From the moment we booked, the owner was friendly, responsive, and super helpful. The boat itself was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group. The owner went above and beyond—especially at the end of the day when a few things were accidentally left on the boat. He made a special effort to return everything to us, which we truly appreciated. Our captain, Tristan, was amazing—so kind, knowledgeable about the lake, and made sure we had the best time. He was flexible with where we wanted to go and made everything feel easy and fun. If I’m ever back in the Finger Lakes, I wouldn’t think twice about booking with them again!

We rented a pontoon boat from Finger Lakes Watersports for one week in mid June 2025 on Seneca Lake. Our experience was excellent. Making the reservation was very easy. Geoff delivered and picked up the boat at the lake house we were staying at...Amazing service. Geoff spent the time to go over the features of the boat and gave us the required safety briefing. The pontoon boat was in excellent condition, ran great...it was practically new. This is a very professional organization and anytime we are renting a boat in the Finger Lakes region, we will be contacting Finger Lakes Watersports.

If your anywhere near lake Keuka and looking for a pontoon rental, this is the place! The only boat rental I've found that allows / aids you in having fun. Every boat comes with a 2-person tube for towing behind the boat, which is the primary way to fully experience boating fun. Most others (if not all others) prohibit any kind of towing of any sort, which leaves you with the only option, to putter around the lake aimlessly. The staff are very friendly and engaged and make certain you are feeling confident in your boating experience. It is helpful to have some experience, but not required. You can take a pontoon boat out and gain the needed confidence in just a few minutes. Driving a boat is similar to driving a car. Be respectful and stay a safe distance from other boats and the rest is pure enjoyment 😉.

We rented a pontoon from Finger-lakes Water sports. The service was excellent! The boat looked new and well kept! We had a lovely couple of hours on the lake! Thank-you!

In addition to our group's prior review (see Rachel Bogard), it is extremely frustrating for a company/owner to not take accountability for their disorganization and to attempt to discredit a valid review. Attached is a portion of the text conversation with Geoff, which was supplemented by multiple phone calls where we were assured our reservation was confirmed and set to go. Our group initially planned to submit a single review to caution others about working with this company to avoid the disappointment we experienced. However, due to the company's lack of accountability, we felt compelled to share screenshots to demonstrate our concerns.

We went with this company for a bachelorette party recently and were disappointed with our experience. Upon booking, I was told that the boat could fit 12-13 of us comfortably and that we would be able to water ski, tube, and they would even bring jet skis out to us on the water. However when we arrived the driver seemed openly annoyed with our group and whenever we asked to go tubing, he would give an excuse and say we would do it later. This happened several times until we ran out of time. Many of us were excited to give tubing an try and wish that he was more communicative with this. We were given excuses such as size of our group, conditions, and that he needed to go pick up the tube (even though it was made clear we wanted to tube serval times). I would not recommend this company for your next group outing. I would also like to note that I left an internal review over a week ago and have not heard back from them, indicating that they do not care about customer experience and feedback.

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. This is a lengthy review but it’s worth it to read. I reached out regarding a boat tour on June 10th for a bachelorette party this past weekend (August 16th). The responses started off amazing. I spoke with Geoff via email and then the following day we had a lengthy phone conversation regarding all the options. He gave me a lot of information and recommendations which was greatly appreciated and so helpful at the time. The following day I texted him that I wanted to reserve the boat tour for August 16 and gave him the information he requested. The following day I reached out to ask about receiving a confirmation email, he stated that he will resend it no problem. I never got it, so I reached out again. At that point he called me and said they were having a glitch with the system they use, but it would be fixed the next week; he reassured me that we are for sure booked and ready to go. On July 8th, I reached out again about it, he asked what my name was and if it was for a tour and then nothing else. (Which was concerning because my information should have already been saved for that date). I texted him again July 25th and was told he would look into it and then he stopped responding. I attempted to call July 29th, July 30th, August 2nd and August 4th I reached out with no answer or call back after leaving messages. My friend then started trying to reach out, she got ahold of a different division of the company (which uses the same phone number as the water sports), spoke to Bonnie multiple times who kept leaving messages for Geoff and we still never heard anything back. I messaged him August 4th stating my concern and that I would really like to discuss the details of our reservation. He told me he was actively searching for a captain, but it will be wrapped up and taken care of and not to worry about. On Monday August 11th, I reached out for an update and received no response. By Wednesday I reached out AGAIN and his response was “still no luck. What lake are you hoping for?” By this point I was extremely frustrated, especially the fact that he had no idea what lake we were discussing when it was the same one the entire time and should have been noted in our reservation. I expressed my concerns and his only response was “I’m sorry. I have done my best, still trying”. For a last ditch effort I reached out again on Friday the 15th for an update and no response. The lack of communication from this company and Geoff the owner was little to none and extremely unprofessional. I am sharing this because I would hate for this to happen to any group celebrating a special occasion. The reservation should have never been confirmed by the company if they did not have the proper staff.
