Snow Can Happen as Early as October
Spokane can get very warm in the summer, and those high temperatures can carry well into September and even into October. However, it can hit like a big surprise when the weather suddenly gives a 30° temperature drop in the last half of October. Sometimes you see the occasional day of snowfall before Halloween. This is not usually major snowfall, but it can be anywhere from a dusting to an inch or two, which sticks around for a day or so. Some say that Spokane skips fall altogether, while others would say Spokane has about a week of fall, and then it's winter.
