Terrific professional personal service is what it is all about at this music store. I visited this location to purchase acoustic guitar strings. I was promptly greeted and helped by Diana who is usually in charge of the gift and specialty items. Normally at large chain music stores I have to pay over $15 for a decent pair of strings but not at this music store they carry a variety of strings for a price that is less than major music stores. Example: D'Addario Strings retail for $14.25 and I only paid $8.55 because they offer a discounted price for their patrons. If you live in Las Vegas or just visiting and need quick music supplies I definitely recommend visiting this store. They also provide lessons for most musical instruments at their location. Family music centers is a great place! They have musical instruments for sale and rental. They also have sheet music, books, and all other items you may need. The best part of this store is the instrument classes they offer. They offer lessons for all musical instruments. The prices are great and the teachers are even better! You are getting a great value by going here. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to get better or just looking to start playing an instrument.

I purchased my first guitar (Oscar Schmidt by Washburn), I am so excited. While I was in the store, my friend talked me into purchasing a recorder, because I always had a desire to learn to play a flute. She suggested I start with the recorder. Now, it's time to take lessons for both instruments. I can't wait. What a wonderful experience. The sales person David was very kind and helpful. I look forward to doing business with the Family Music Center for many years to come, and will spread the word about the friendly service. We purchased a piano in January that arrived damaged. Despite multiple emails, phone calls, and an in-person visit, two months later the issue is yet to be resolved. The experience of buying the piano was excellent - the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. But the experience since has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

Horrible experience! These people keep charging me even after my balance (payments for buying an instrument) is paid off. I have contacted them several times, sent emails, went in in person... after bouncing me around from person to person they agreed to stop the automatic withdrawals. But they never stop! Nobody seems to know anything AND they have lost my contract!!! They don’t responding to my emails anymore either. I might have to take this to court, which I really don’t have time for. But I am outraged!

Not very helpful or friendly. Went there to purchase a violin for my daughter and no one was available. There were two individuals behind the cash register. We waited for them to complete what they were doing (no other customers around.) We waited for about 20 minutes and walked out. Worst service I have ever had... anywhere. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Not to busy and it was really cool because there were SO many instruments and books! They helped me get my new bow a while back because of it's shape. The person there went through it with me and showed me how I should really be putting my bow in because I was a beginner. Also showed me how to get my rosin. It was wonderful and I'm planning to go back soon for more music. Definitely have faith they have everything needed there for those looking. I've been playing for 5 years and they've always had what I've needed.

Amazing staff, very knowledable and friendly! Great store that is very well cleaned and organized, even the sheet music, which is hard to find! Highly recommend this store, they fixed our daughters flute in less than 5 minutes!

Bought a ukulele for my dsughter, staff was nice and didn't hawk eye me while I was browsing. Prices were good and the overall atmosphere was super cool! Would recommend and will shop at again.
