Highly recommend this family owned location for knee scooters, rollators and bathroom equipment. They have so much you could spend your whole paycheck with a smile on your face and love everything! They even have this area with custom made holiday items like wreaths, T-shirts, & jewelry! Each person that works there, I believe I have met each person now, has exceptional personalities and will help each person on a one-on-one basis and make you feel like VIP!

My mom was referred to go to family medical supply by her insurance. She was unable to go to the medical supply on her own as she was injured and just coming back from a doctors appointment, I offered to pick up the prescription for her. The prescription was for a knee scooter as my mom had a boot on her foot. upon entering the facility I noticed that nothing was priced and prices were being made by my appearance and somewhat pulled out of a hat. I had a prescription in hand which they never once looked at the prescription and never ran my mom insurance. They proceeded to give me a flat rate to pay $200. I intern inform them that my mom has a prescription and the insurance was not ran. The owner of the company expressed “I already know that the insurance is not going to cover it”. Unbeknownst to her my mom has dual coverage and one of her insurances would have covered it. They were very insistent and persistent on not running the insurance. Knowing that my mom was given a prescription for a reason I went ahead and purchased the scooter for her as she was not with me. Once I contacted my mom she then informed me that the scooter was not needed. Not even an hour later I contacted the owner to return the item as it was not needed, she refused to refund the item even though I just left the store not even an hour ago, she expressed that I can pick some thing else in the store. My mom did not need anything else in the store nor do We foresee or plan on having any other medical issues. The business was very unsettling and felt very unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend family medical supplies to any family or friends. The $200 could have gone to my mom‘s cancer medication‘s, diabetes medication‘s and more. This is so unfortunate that a business is ran this way.
