Family First Mobile RV Repair

Almost nothing worse than your furnace going out, during a cold winter night a day before you are supposed to move to a new location! Family First Mobile RV was actually over an hour away but still responded and had the parts on hand to fix our furnace the next day! Would definitely recommend them!

We are currently (5/28/25) traveling from Florida to Alaska in our 10 year old Winnebago Class-A. We boondocked at a Costco in Ankeny, Iowa s we prepared to leave out bed room side wont not come in. We called several RV shops and even the Winnebago factory tech line trying to diagnose the problem and nothing worked. We then started calling mobile services, very few if any answered or could help. We tried for hours without help. A few minutes after leaving a message, Karen at Family First returned our call. She was exceptionally helpful and understood our urgent need to get in the road so we could meet up with our traveling friends. Two techs arrived two hours later, squeezing us in between calls. They were very friendly and explained a lot and now we are back in the road. They have a special device they can hook up to most anything electronic and make it work. This company is one of the best I’ve had respond to our road side needs

Great company! I called on a Saturday afternoon they came out Sunday morning and got my furnace going. Did a great job,clean and very professional. Completely went the extra mile on there service they did for me

I had a laundry list of things I wanted looked at/repaired on my camper. The mobile service was perfect, as I don't have the option to park the trailer at my home and didn't want to take it to a dealer. Patrick and Keith did a great job. Patrick is one of the hardest working people I know. Even during the week his family was visiting, he was on the job helping people get their RVs working. Family First was excellent we were stuck at a harvest host with our slides out and no way to pull them in. They contacted one of there Techs (Bill) he came out, diagnosed the problem and got us going so we could finish our trip. Wonderful company! I was referred by several people, and for good reason. They are great. Patrick was especially helpful when he arrived to replace my fridge. He answered every question I had with a positive attitude. He even checked when he was done to see if I needed any other questions answered. He also gave me some helpful tips and suggestions to make things go smoother. So thankful to have found these lovely people.

Family First was recommended to me by Timberline Campground owners. After a very bad storm occurred and the breaker flipped for my AC, my living room AC wasn’t getting cold and the fan wasn’t spinning. I called Family First and they sent someone out the next day. When I got home from work it was doing the same thing, not running well. That’s when we were sure the fan needed replaced but they came back out and checked it over again and sure enough it was the fan motor. I couldn’t do it right away however they worked with me and my budget and I now have my AC working again. I feel truly blessed they helped us as we are in a bad heat wave and now will be doing so much better.

Family First RV are heroes who wear bright yellow shirts and save the day. Your air conditioner in your camper go out? No problem. They’ll come to YOU and replace it. And so much more. They are all over the Iowa State fair working so hard - like 16 hour days. God bless family first.
