I had a great experience and was able to get an appointment week of! I was specifically looking for someone who specializes in pediatric eyecare and really lucked out to find Dr. Patel's office. She was patient and very thorough with my child. We now have a plan of action to ensure healthy eyecare for my little one ...and the rest of the family! we will all be moving our eye care over to Dr. Patel.

I had an excellent experience at Family Eye Wellness. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and organized, and the office was clean and comfortable. Dr. Patel took the time to listen to my concerns, explain everything clearly, and make sure I understood my options. The exam was thorough, and I never felt rushed. Overall, I left feeling confident in my eye health and truly cared for as a patient. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great eye care!

Dr. Patel has been wonderful for my son’s eye care. We were having a hard time getting an appointment with other ophthalmologists in the area, and we knew he needed to be seen as soon as possible. Once we found out she was available, we scheduled an appointment and could not be more satisfied with her care. She prescribed specialized glasses for my son, and his vision is already improving.

Dr. Patel is absolutely amazing and caring doctor. My daughter(7) and I(41) never had eye exams before. She took her time explaining each step. Never rushed and answered each question I had. I thank you for making this experience easy. I would highly recommend everyone visiting this practice for your vision needs.

Best eye doctor I have EVER had. Thorough in her exams, takes her time and she listens. I had never been able to wear contacts before but she found some that worked for me. They are designed specifically for dry eye and are very comfortable. Highly recommend Dr. Patel.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Patel and Family Eye Wellness. From the moment we walked in with my daughter, I was amazed. In fact, I had to make sure I was in the right place because her office is so beautiful, very clean, and so inviting. Her receptionist and assistant was very welcoming and did not rush me while I read the intake forms. Once I completed the forms, we were promptly welcomed by Dr. Patel. She was patient and wanted to know my daughters full medical history. She did not rush me and let me tell her story in my own words. She was very patient and worked with my daughter at her own pace (she is 15 months). She had many methods and did everything possible to ensure she got the correct read on my daughter. She even took an additional step and dilated her eyes to get a more accurate reading. Dr. Patel also did not shy away from telling us to get a second opinion to ensure another Dr. agreed with her findings. I have never been to a more thorough, patient, kind, and understanding specialist. She also did not rush us out the door until she felt she had the best reading possible. I would hands down return to her over and over again and recommended her! She is beyond 5 stars.

Dr. Patel and her team are fantastic. My daughter went in for her first eye appt at two and was really giving the staff a hard time. Dr. Patel was super patient and understanding. Highly recommend this clinic!

Excellent pediatric optometrist. Was amazing with my two kids and knew exactly what to do to keep them focused. Only optometrist I know that has toys in the reception. Would recommend to anyone who wants an optometrist for their family.

We've had a fantastic experience at Family Eye Wellness, and she's well worth the drive from downtown Cary for us. I tried another vision therapy practice closer to my home with my first child, and seeing Dr. Patel now with my second child. There is no comparison. My 3rd grader was having trouble reading, and I believe her more thorough evaluations are the only thing that would have identified the issue properly. Then the vision therapy itself is much more engaging and personalized. Dr. Patel is involved herself in the therapy, and it progresses with my child's progression, not according to a standard prescription. My child is now becoming a more confident reader and catching up to his peers. The office is also quite comfortable and relaxing. You'll find me drinking coffee, and resting on the heated recliner chair during my child's therapy sessions. Thank you so much.

Dr Patel & her staff are the best! I came in after disappointing appointments over the years at a different eye office because I have a complex prescription. Dr Patel took the time to fit me for the right contacts & I recently went back for new progressives, sunnies and lens replacement. Turnaround time was fast. I’m so glad I found Family Eye Wellness.
