Extra Space Storage

Working with Ed, manager at the St. James Street Storage in Springfield was delightful. I have never rented storage before but when my grandson graduated we needed to find a place and when we found this facility it was perfect. I live in CT and whenever I called, staff were great and Ed would always call me back. The facility is clean and well lit which is what you'd expect, but the staff and management are really friendly, professional and on top of everything and that makes it an extraordinary experience. Thank you.

For being my first time renting a storage my experience was lovely. I had an employee who was very nice to explain what I was paying for, and how much everything would cost. The storage facility itself is very clean and location is great because it is not to far which is great. The hours to be able to get to my storage is amazing since I work all day so being able to go to the storage for anything helps a lot. I’d anyone is new and looking for a storage I advised you come here, your experience will be great and so is the storage if you decide to get one!

The elevator has been broken at this place for a month!!!! My storage unit is on the second floor so I have to use the stairs, smh. On top of that, one of the main doors to the facility has been broken for 2 months. This place will hound you down to get your payment, but don’t wanna fix their facilities broken issues. Do not get a storage place from here, you’ve been warned. Also, I doubt that the good reviews for this place are legit because it’s absolutely horrible.

Had an amazing experience with the general manager, Ed. Professional, great personality. He connects with his clients, explains all fees and charges up front & clearly. You leave feeling confident in your choice of storage facility. It's clean and well maintained by Ed himself!

This Extra Space Storage location is super neat and clean. The staff provides excellent customer service, especially Mr. Francisco — he was very helpful and resolved an issue I had quickly and professionally. Highly recommend this place!

Francisco was so nice and helpful,I was looking for storage options for a camper in case the place I store it can't accommodate me,lots of great options and info,I also asked about shipping supplies as I needed bubblewrap,the price was great and the quality was better than staples.

The elevator has been down at this facility for over 5 days with no date on when it will be fixed. Telling me I can use the elevator to move appliances the bottom floor up the stairs. The point of a storage unit is to have access to it to store things now I have my car filled with things and had to rent a uhaul an extra day just to hold stuff I was going to store!

Our vehicle storage at Extra Space Storage was a good experience. The manager, Ed, was professional yet personable and courteous. The security at the facility was excellent, and Ed was diligent in keeping the operation of the facility running smoothly . We would recommend Extra Space Storage at this location.
