2009 Seat Leon Steering Column Electronics Damage Diagnosed & Fixed
We got a call from a customer who we were recommended to by one of our regular trade customers.
The customer had a locksmith out 3 months ago to fix a failed steering lock following his visit the car wouldn't start but he blamed "another fault" on the vehicle for this.
The customer had multiple people out to the non starting vehicle with no one being able to get to the bottom of the problem.
We went out and had it back up and running within an hour!!!
The original locksmith 🤡 had bent and snapped micro pins inside the steering column electronics module.
We did some soldering and some very delicate pin straightening...Bingo!!!
This car has been sat going mouldy for 3 months!!! Not all locksmiths are the same
