The customer contacted us after the ignition had failed and he was no longer able to start the vehicle...ðŸ˜
These ford ignitions are prone to failure so we keep new ignitions & steering locks on the van ready to go.
We attempted to pick and manipulate the ignition only to find that the ignition barrel was too badly damaged which in turn made it impossible to turn the ignition to remove the barrel or repair it.
The only available option we had was to to drill and replace the damaged ignition.
We only ever drill them as a last resort.
Suffice to say the vehicle is now back up and running with another very happy owner who can get back to work...🔑
