2020 Mercedes Sprinter Diagnostic Session & Ad-Blue solution.
The customer called us after he had contacted Mercedes who had a ludicrous 6 months back-order for the required Ad-blue parts needed to fix his work van!
The Ad-blue non start counter had started to run down and was at 377 miles remaining meaning that when the counter reaches zero the vehicle will no longer even start!!!
Due to the vehicle also having a certain type ECU fitted we were unable to programme the vehicle by the usual method through the OBD port.
We had to remove the ECU from the vehicle to complete the procedure on the bench in our mobile workshop.
Suffice to say the vehicle is now back up and running better than it ever with another very happy owner...🚗💨💨💨
