2015 Ford Transit Custom Ignition Barrel Failure / Key Not Turning In Ignition.
The customer contacted us after her key would no longer turn in the ignition and was unable to start the vehicle.
These Ford ignition barrels are very prone to failure and we get a 10+ calls a month with exactly the same ignition issues...Ignition not turning or increasingly difficult to insert and remove the key from the ignition.
We had to drill this one but we carry genuine Ford spare parts on the van so we're able to replace the faulty parts and repair the issue on site.
