Terrible service – never turned up I booked Excel Taxi three weeks in advance and they simply never showed up. No call, no message, no explanation. Completely unreliable and caused unnecessary stress and disruption. What’s the point of booking ahead if they don’t bother turning up? I won’t be using them again and would not recommend them to anyone who actually needs to be somewhere.

With rail services reduced through Crewkerne, we needed to find a taxi from Yeovil Junction. Looking at reviews it seemed Excel Taxi Service in Yeovil would be a good option, we are pleased we made the choice. Jenson was there waiting for our slightly delayed train and drove us safely back to Dorset and proved an interesting man to chat to. No hesitation recommending his service.

I was in a fix as my bike had let me down with 5 punctures in the middle of nowhere where...within 30 mins I was picked up and taken to Bristol. Driver has to endure the worst of Bristol traffic and did it with incredible patience.

Jensen is a life saver. He picked us up and drove us 40 minutes at 1:00 AM on a weekday. No one else would even take our calls but he was there to help and even gave us a discounted rate despite the hour. This is the best taxi service I’ve ever had and would use them again in a heartbeat if the need arose.

Excel Taxi are a small independent company but they offer great service over a range of journeys. I would recommend them to anyone travelling in the Yeovil area.
