8 Tips on How to Pack Like a Pro.
Moving to a new place could prove to be a tasking endeavor, even if it involves moving from one house to another down the street or from one office space to another. Whether you are moving from a multi-family mansion or a descent studio apartment, Excalibur Moving Company has got you covered with the following DIY packing tips.
Get the right packing supplies
Your belongings dictate the size and number of packing items that you need. However, one generally requires different sizes of moving boxes or cartons, scissors, bubble wraps, newspapers, padding supplies, packing tape and labeling materials. Electronics can be comfortably packed in their original boxes. If you disposed these, have the dimensions in mind when purchasing the packing boxes.
Have a packing checklist
Organization is key. Draft a comprehensive checklist that will guide you in accounting for every item in your home or office. Ensure that you draft your packing checklist in a brightly colored handbook; one that you can easily spot in the middle of a disorganized room. Alternatively, to avoid losing the checklist, use mobile note apps like Evernote or Google Keep. It is less unlikely to lose your phone while packing for a move, than it is a handbook.
One room at a time
Packing will disorient the arrangement of your house. To avoid any further confusion, deal with one room at a time. Set aside a packing room, preferably the room used least.
