I told Lakota about my screaming in my sleep and she gave me some medicine for it and lemme tell you I had the best night just one night so far on it with no screaming. I’m so grateful 🥲 thank you so much for helping me!! Even if it just lasts one night I’ll remember how good I felt on this medicine. I’m writing this still sleepy but I’m so grateful

I just moved to NC and started my therapy with Brian in the middle of my crisis and he was so wonderful and provided me helpful tools. Brian is my first male therapist and I cannot recommend Brian more highly to anyone seeking an amazingly caring and knowledgeable therapist. Lakota has been wonderful in immediately accommodating me when one of my medications was causing concern. She is also the first doctor who had my blood tested to make sure the current meds were not harming me. The receptionist is wonderful and very understanding also. I appreciate the entire Wilmington team for helping me on both my good days and helping me find solutions on my worst days.

It was the first time I had a psychiatrist look me in the eyes when I was talking instead of a checklist making notes, she can type and still let you know she (Dr. Lakota) is fully plugged into what you are expressing. I was given adequate time to talk and be heard, reflective in the questions posed to me. I felt that she was realistic and didn’t talk in circles or run off of hypotheticals, and let me know this is a collaborative starting point to allow for personalized adjustments and a careful , conservative approach to begin calibrating the best course of medication. I was very anxious but felt a sense of relief, hope by the end of our session. I look forward to having a voice in determining the best course of action and hopeful for the end goal of receiving a proper diagnosis with tangible results.

I had some reservations about my visit at first but, then I met Morgan and she was very welcoming. Morgan truly listens to me when she ask questions, she continues to challenge me to talk about the most difficult things So I can heal. Morgan encourages me, celebrates my accomplishes. Morgan acknowledges the pain of my past traumas, she recognizes the healing and growth I have achieved. Morgan encourages me to continue to tell my story so that others can heal too. Morgan constantly remind me of how extremely powerful I truly am, I appreciate her, she is a jewel and, I am comfortable taking this journey of healing through lessons of authenticity with her by telling my truth. The chains have been broken and the box that pain has held me in has collapsed upon itself, I am glad I decided to go. I will continue so I can fully heal and help others do the same.

The office staff is AMAZING! Jessica is always very pleasant and helpful when you check in, and Lakota is very attentive to your needs and concerns.

Morgan was amazing and I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Lakota has been a breath of fresh air. Very informative, takes her time, and does not push you towards meds or away from them. She truly evaluates and provides pros and cons to every avenue.

Dr. Godsey is so thorough while understanding. She helps Paulette each time we meet and I try to help as I can.
