I am documenting my experience with this shop so that other customers can make an informed decision before authorizing major repairs. I brought my Volkswagen in because it had entered limp mode and was experiencing weak boost with DPF-related issues. At the outset, I was advised that the repair would involve replacing the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) along with an oil change and fuel filter. Based on that information, I authorized the repairs with the expectation that these services would resolve the vehicle’s drivability issue. As the repair process continued, the scope of work expanded after the fact to include additional sensors and components that were not part of the original discussion. Despite the increasing cost of the repairs, the vehicle’s original problem was not resolved. After paying for the work and retrieving the vehicle, the car remained in limp mode with the same boost-related issues. I was then informed that further diagnosis would require replacing additional sensors and spending additional time and money, as the shop stated they could not continue diagnosing the issue otherwise. Within less than 30 miles of driving after picking up the vehicle, several additional problems appeared that were not present prior to the repair: • A low coolant warning and flashing overheating message • ABS system warnings appearing on the dashboard • The air conditioning system no longer functioning • The vehicle still operating in limp mode When I contacted the shop regarding the coolant warning and overheating message, I was told that I could tow the vehicle back to them so they could inspect the cooling system and that the water pump may have failed. This was particularly concerning given the extremely limited mileage driven since the repair. Another issue that raised concern during this process was the recommendation for a wheel alignment despite the vehicle having worn tires, which was not initially raised until I brought up the condition of the tires myself. Communication throughout the process was also very limited. Updates often required repeated follow-ups, and diagnostic scan reports were only provided after repeated requests. At this point, I have spent more than the value of the vehicle on repairs, yet the original problem remains unresolved and several additional issues appeared shortly after the work was completed. The situation ultimately forced me to purchase another vehicle, which I likely could have avoided had I been made aware from the beginning that the repair process could become this extensive without resolving the underlying issue. While I understand that diagnosing complex mechanical problems can require time, the overall experience felt increasingly open-ended, with additional parts and costs introduced without a clear resolution. Because the shop has not been helpful in resolving these concerns, I will be pursuing formal consumer protection actions to address the situation.

Finding a good qualified mechanic is like finding a diamond in the rough. We had some difficult issues arise in our 2014 Mercedes C250. Starting with rough idling and finally engine shutting down. It was a failed ECU (Computer). The Estimate from others was nearly $2000 / 70% higher then Euro. We were scheduled for a long cruise and the car would need to stay with them for 15 days. Rob, our Euro Representative, said it would not be a problem and they would keep it inside. Came back, Mercedes in great shape, washed and ready to go. These guys are fairly priced, great work, and friendly to work with. 5 Stars!

Recently requested a pre-purchase inspection for a 2008 Porsche 911 Carrera S. The good thing was that Rob was able to fit me into the schedule. I rated this experience two stars because I really did not get a lot of confidence related to what was actually inspected on the vehicle. I did receive 6 or 8 photos with issues, but never did receive a formal inspection report or an inspection checklist or a recommendation of what needed to be repaired. This experience did not meet my expectations. When I asked for the shop to go deeper into some issues, including oil level, manometer, testing, and engine diagnostics I was told that those were not services that they performed because I did not own the vehicle. This is very inconsistent with information that I received from multiple other shops. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle, but it really was unrelated to the PPI.

This company was a total disappointment and did not meet expectations. My Porsche 911 was taken in for a hydraulic leak in the Ram for the convertible top. The Porsche “expert” informed me that this is not a serviceable item and they would need to replace both sides of the roof hydraulic system at a cost of approximately $4500 dollars. I had provided the mechanic with a detailed description of what was needed and where the leak was located. It literally took him two minutes to look at the leak and offer the solution at a charge of almost $200 dollars. Needless to say, I did my research and found a repair shop that specializes in high end luxury vehicles. The mechanic looked at the problem and provided an in depth solution. This mechanic stated that the hydraulic lines were indeed repairable and rebuildable at a fraction of the cost. This mechanic did not charge me for the diagnosis like Euro Specialist. The job was completed with a rebuild for under $1000 dollars as compared to the inflated $4500 Euro Specialist price. That being said, the customer service people at Euro were very nice and well suited for customers with deep pockets.

I had an odor of gasoline smell which was driving me nuts even when I was not driving which I couldn’t find. I normally do my own auto repairs but this one job, I needed help. Sometimes it better to pay a professional to get the job done and done right.

If you own a euro car this shop is an absolute gem in the automotive maintenance industry. The administrative staff was very friendly and communicative providing status updates and up front pricing estimates. The technical team took the time and care to listen to my mysterious suspension issues where I could hear and feel vibrations only at highway speeds, and successfully diagnose and repair within a few days of dropping off the car (2023 VW GTI). The prices are higher for a reason because they take the time and effort to properly solve the problem. When I picked up the vehicle I was concerned with the price I paid and the fear the problem may still persist, because this was my experience with shops in the past. The car drove good as new with the concern totally gone. Not to mention a fresh detail wash was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for all my maintenance needs in the future!
