My son and I cannot say enough good things about Shane Neufeld and the team at Ethical Death Care. During one of the most difficult times for our family, they were compassionate, professional, and incredibly supportive every step of the way. From picking up my mom to handling all of the paperwork, they took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry about the details while we were grieving. They also organized the Celebration of Life and ensured everything ran smoothly. Everyone who attended my mom’s service made the comment that it was perfect! I asked a friend who works for another funeral home for help once my dad passed away. But considering my dad's wish for a simple cremation, she instead recommended me to Ethical Death Care since she heard good things about them. I'm so glad she led me here because Shane and his team were so immensely helpful and kind!! They made such a difficult time feel so much easier. They are very knowledgeable about local laws and clearly explained to me how to settle my dad's affairs properly, which was so appreciated. Shane Neufeld and his team at Ethical Death Care were an amazing company to deal with, considering the service being secured. From my initial phone call a year ago to find out more about the services they offer, there was no change when I called on a Saturday in January 2026 that she had passed. Ethical Death Care handled everything professionally and with the utmost dignity and respect during the entire process. I highly recommend at the very least to call for an informational discussion to ask questions and hear what they offer. Based entirely on my personal experience, there were absolutely no surprises I.E., upselling, difficulty in receiving quick responses to questions etcetera, and the outstanding quality of their customer care/service and the timely completion of required Government document submissions. A very impressive company with knowledgeable staff that see to your family's needs in a very emotional time. Another important consideration is you can feel confident and believe what you are being quoted and/or see on their webpage what their service options are, and their pricing. What you are provided in writing is indeed what you will pay.

Never easy planning a funeral, but Shane and his team were wonderful, thoughtful and knowledgeable. They don't price gouge. They help fill out paperwork, they arrange services and even have an all inclusive package with food, etc. I highly recommend this funeral home if you lost a loved one and need help. Losing a loved one unexpectantly is very difficult. Everyone at Ethical Death Care was kind and helpful and went above and beyond with the many phone calls and questions we had. Their assistance with planning was excellent. They took care of every detail before, during, and after the ceremony. The site for the Celebration of Life was beautiful and comforting with the group seating arrangement. The caterers were lovely and kind, and the luncheon was perfect. Forever grateful, cannot thank them enough!

My family was satisfied with the cremation of my husband and their Dad. We felt he was treated with dignity. We were notified when the cremation was complete and the ashes returned to Ethical. We met with the Representative at their place of business to discuss various “things to do”. And to pick up the ashes. They always provided needed info and answered our questions. The service was professional and the fee reasonable.
