We are not a typical funeral home. Without profit, we provide cremation services, urns, caskets etc. We are consumer advocates who protect vulnerable families from sales and up-selling tactics. All of our prices are provided, in detail, on our website. We offer the highest level of service at a reasonable cost. All merchandise is provided at cost and without profit. This includes caskets, urns, obituary notices, cremation fees etc. For those who would like to celebrate a life we specialize in non-religions life celebrations held in a modern and beautiful river-side facility on Wellington Crescent at Academy Road. Also at a surprisingly reasonable cost. We take care of everything, from the catering, beverages, bar service, and staff.

My son and I cannot say enough good things about Shane Neufeld and the team at Ethical Death Care. During one of the most difficult times for our family, they were compassionate, professional, and incredibly supportive every step of the way. From picking up my mom to handling all of the paperwork, they took care of everything so we didn’t have to worry about the details while we were grieving. They also organized the Celebration of Life and ensured everything ran smoothly. Everyone who attended my mom’s service made the comment that it was perfect! I asked a friend who works for another funeral home for help once my dad passed away. But considering my dad's wish for a simple cremation, she instead recommended me to Ethical Death Care since she heard good things about them. I'm so glad she led me here because Shane and his team were so immensely helpful and kind!! They made such a difficult time feel so much easier. They are very knowledgeable about local laws and clearly explained to me how to settle my dad's affairs properly, which was so appreciated. These people are doing amazing work and providing a great service, I cannot recommend them enough!!!
