Absolutely incredible service from Ely. We had what felt like an impossible job: getting an entire kitchen (including heavy appliances) over a 12-foot wall and down into a basement courtyard, with no access via the house. Not only did Ely manage it, he did it calmly, safely, and without a single scratch to our neighbour’s wall, garden, or property. The planning, care, and execution were spot on. Everything was properly protected, lifted and lowered with total control, and finished far quicker than we expected. You could tell straight away this was someone who really knows what he’s doing with awkward access and heavy items. He might describe himself as a removals guy, but honestly Ely can do anything - especially the tricky jobs that most people would turn down or overcomplicate. If you’ve got a difficult move, restricted access, basement flat, tight staircases, walls to go over, or just a job that makes you think “how on earth are we going to do this?”, Ely is your guy. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Absolutely amazing guys, really went above and beyond to help us remove our belongings. Really fast and respectful, and took great care of everything. As we were unable to be present they managed the whole move and we were so impressed with their organisation. We will definitely use them again. Much better than any of the larger companies.

I rarely review and never review poorly but this company is operating without insurance and i would strongly recommend anyone considering using this company look elsewhere. Ely and his team were very nice, communicative and helpful. Unfortunately I think Ely underestimated the job (his quotation was via video and was an accurate recording) and his team inexperienced. During the move we incurred £2500 worth of damage (we have since found out he has no insurance to cover this) and was so delayed in moving out of the house that we had sold, that we incurred a ‘failure to complete’ penalty of £1500 from the buyers. Ely was due to return complete the move and put together the beds etc but said he had Covid and did not finish the job asking us to hire someone else to complete the job (we had retained £500 of the invoice till the job was finished so was able to do that from this fund). We then discovered that he had not kept all parts of the beds together and had lost all the screws. This is indicative of the haphazard way in which he works. My initial review would have simply been ‘it was bad luck and this company was not used to such a large job’, however I have since discovered that the company was liquidated last year and is operating with no insurance therefore i have little chance of recovering the damages i have incurred. I note that your response says that you have insurance, I have contacted you on numerous occasions to request the details (as has check a trade which has now removed you from their site). If you have insurance, please provide me with the details so that I can make a claim.

Great experience! I got many boxes and stuff to move to another city. Creative ideas with Ely on moving my chair and TV through a small door! Traveled and moved sound the world, so far the best experience ever.

If I ever move again, I would be using them again! They were easy to work with and did the work very well. If you are looking to move around Sussex area, use them.
