Did you know that concussion symptoms can be directly related to a lingering neck injury?
When a person sustains a concussive injury to the brain, the concussion occurs through the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the brain at the point of impact.
But, at the same time the brain is impacted, the neck moves with it, which results in whiplash.
So, when concussion symptoms don’t subside after 2-4 weeks as they normally do, it may be because you haven’t yet treated the injury to your neck.
